Okay so i recently tried the chil silk infusion, and i like. But i just wanted to know if you ladies can give me some more good silk products for the hair...and what it REALLY does that is benifical. Because all i know at this point is i like the way my hair feels when it is applied. lol

I love, love silk. These days I take my straight or mix with my conditioners - it makes my hair both strong and soft. Dependent upon the molecular size, silk will either penetrate that hair shaft or coats it.

Here is something from www.newdirectionsaromatics.com on silk amino acids.
Silk Amino Acids

INCI: Hydrolyzed Silk Peptides
Description: Silk Amino Acid contains alanine, glycine and serine, which are sighted as the protein stimulants in our skin and hair. They have a high dispersion rate, allowing this fine powder to easily dissipate in liquids or into other powders. It is especially good for use in hair care products, as it protects hair from moisture loss and conditions it to provide a silky smoothness. Consider adding it to our ready to use cosmetic bases.

I use liquid SAA from Lotioncrafter, and I also have Silk Peptide Powder and Liquid Silk. I add them to leave ins and deep conditioners. I haven't washed or cowashed my hair without some sort of silk in a long time. My hair comes out so strong, soft, and, of course, silky. You should definitely try some silk :yep:

I use mine like Brownie does. Straight with nothing added or added to conditioner. The addition of silk amino acids and silk peptide powder is a life, well saver. I purchase from From Nature with Love and Lotioncrafters.

I bought 4 oz's of Silk Peptide powder from.....Fromnaturewithlove for 15 dollars and some change the other day.

Have not used it yet though but i will
I'm going to make motowngirls winter spritz with it.

Lacio Lacio
Salerm 21
Silicon Mix

These are all leave-in conditioners that have silk proteins in them and imo they are all excellent. They all make my hair silky, shiny and smooth.

I also like the silk elements line at Sallys, it contains some silk amino acids. I also like Smooth and Shine Silk infusion conditioner.
