i put in my own kinky twist (the pic is in my siggy) i am not completely pleased but I am very proud of myself considering the fact this my first time braiding ever.....now my question is how do i care for them????

I have no clue how to take care of them, but you look very cute. Good job :yep:

They are really cute, you did a good job. As far as care I would like to say the same way you care for braids...Sareca where are you?
Paging Sareca stat :help3:

I'm on it!

Here's how I do it...

1. I put 1 capful of poo in an empty 16oz bottle, add a little water and shake it until it's smooth and foamy.
2. Fill the bottle with water. I brought a 69 cent funnel from walmart that I keep in the shower along with 2 empty water bottles (one for poo and one for conditioner).
3. I put that over my scalp and squeeze down the length.
4. After shampoo'g (using the same ratios and water bottle and funnel method) pour the conditioner-water over my hair avoiding my scalp
5.Wring hair out as much as possible and put it in a loose ponytail, then wrap that into a bun.
6. Put a grocery store bag (it probably won't all fit in a plastic shower cap) and sit under the dry for 20 minutes (or however long you usually DC).
6. Rinse.
7. Get back under the dryer for 10 minutes just so that it's not dripping wet.
8. Sponge on another leave-in (Eqyss Avocado Mist or Rehydrant)
9. Apply my homemade red palm cream to any exposed hairs. Usually the roots (after a few weeks of growth) and over the top to get any little hair sticking out of the braids).
10. Every couple days, melt some more moisturizer, put it in an empty squirt bottle and saturate my braids.

THANX GIRL!! I dont know what i would do with out u guys. oK This may sound dumb but this hair isnt going to melt under the dryer?? LOL!:yep:
