Check out the best condishioner poll...its just a few pages down

ORS Replenishing Pak is a good DC. It does have protein as well, but it's more of a moisturizing conditioner than it is protein. Pantene's Relaxed & Natural Breakage Defense Masque is also a good DC that can be purchased from any of the drugstores/supermarkets.

Hi sumismommie! Your avatar pic is too cute!!!! Awww! both of you have beautiful hair!

All I can say about DC is that you might have to shop around and see what works best on your hair. I'd start with Paul Mitchell super charged moisture, which is what I'm using right now. It gets the job done, but I think when I use it up I may try something else, just to see what's out there.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH I POSTED IN A DIFFRENT THREAD. SEE BELOW. SO HOPEFUL A GOOD DC WILL HELP

I had Kinky twist in for about 6 weeks. I took them out and washed, oil rinse and deep condition. Then I lightly blowdryed my hair for my braid out. I had a bunch of little hairs breaking off. What can I do? Does this happen to naturals when we blowdry. My hair was semi-dry and I only ran the blow dry thru twice on big sections of hair on warm setting?
I washed once a week and deep condition with lekair cholestrol plus for an hour. Than sprayed braid spray with some vo5 conditioner and infusium 23 every other day. I also use aphogee 2 weeks ago.

As far as Cholesterol goes, I really think Lustrasilk's Shea butter and Olive Oil Cholesterol conditioners are better.

The Olive Oil one has directions that say to use it like a leave-in, but I LOVE it as a deep conditioner.

I mix them.

Unless it is time for a protein conditioner, these have been the only ones I have used in months for deep conditioning.

There are so many others that will be named, but if you like Cholesterol ones, try the Lustrasilk Olive oil one (and shea butter too!)

Hi lady
I use le kair Ultraplus Cholesterol and don't think that it is a protein conditionner (even if it contains some) I use it as moisturising coditionner mix with shea butter, ripe avocado, some oils... and it's very moisturizing:yep: for my hair!

I thought it was a dc too . but someone pointed out that my braid reg was too much protein. See 1st post in this thread

I'm 4b and use it for more than 2 years without any problem but I don't use it alone I mix it with others things and my hair thriving

that was me Sumi. I said that protein might be a problem due to the infusium and the Aphogee.

the infusium (not sure which one you use though) prolly has protein in it and i know for sure that aphogee does. you really do need to do deep moisturizing conditioners.

i suggested aubrey organics to you, it's a wee bit pricey but worth it. i use this as my deep moisturizing conditioner - i put it on, brush it through then put on a plastic cap. sometimes i sleep in it then rinse out the next morning.
