after a few threads i read, including the one about vanity, i wanted to know what do you remember about the 80's??? those that lived thru them that is:grin:. i was a preteen/teen in the 80's. what fashions did you wear, performers did you like, songs you were into, shows you watched. lets walk down memory lane:drunk:

i loved...PRINCE! anything associated with him i loved. vanity, the time
bobby socks. remember the big lacey ones?

Jerri Curls (faded out mid 1980s though)
Colorful Jeans (denim with red, green, or purple blended in)
Hi-top fades for the guys
Leather bomber jackets
Thriller! Michael Jackson at his peak
Polka Dots on clothes
Shoulder Pads (we used to look like line backers in our dresses with the wide belts):grin:

Aww, I just teared up a little. She was my idol growing up and the main reason I ran track in school. Such a tragedy when she passed away...she was so young and beaufitul.:yep:
