When it is washed it has to be ironed, too. I rotate them and wash ehen ever they start to feel dirty or wrinkly.

Since I clean my hair often and I don't use much product, one can last a week or so before it needs to be cleaned and ironed.

I used to have so many in rotation, but now I'm sticking 2 only two of them. They're really good; I ordered them from tenderheaded.com. Anyway, I've only had them for a couple weeks, so I haven't washed them yet. But I have to say that I wash mine maybe once a month, I guess??? When I was in the dorms last year, I would wash them more often because my hair/bonnet would always get wet in the shower, even when I wore a shower cap. The bonnet would eventually start to have an "odor" like mildew or something, so I'd wash it maybe every 1-2 weeks, depending on how wet it'd get. I think it has something to do with Nashville's nasty water, because if my bonnet were to get wet here in Memphis, then it won't start to smell...it'll just dry up and smell normal.
