When buying the lye relaxer how long can you store it? Does it become less effective the longer you keep it?

I am planning on ordering the Butter Blend Rhelaxer kit but I don't plan to use it until December it that a good idea to do?

That should be fine. At my last relaxer (date in siggy), I used Mizani Butter Blend, and I'm going to use the other half tomorrow.

Okay thanks. I know no-lye relaxers they expire are only good for a one time use.
