Yea and my hair dresser uses it in her natural hair salon. It does define curls if you have a curl pattern- but if you don't you can use it for twists and get a remarkable twist out. Personally cause I have no curl pattern I :rolleyes:use it to hold my twists for a week and then rock a twist out for another week, Its my opinion that the detangler Knot today is one of the better detanglers. HTH

ETA: Im talking about Kinky Curly. I haven't tried any of Honeychilds products

wow you have 4b hair and you get it to look like this? (I'm looking at the pic) Is that what you used to get that look?

I used the miss jessie's curly pudding and I found that it left a residue after 3 days.... I haven't used it again so I'm looking for an alternative.

My hair is 4b I believe but it's not the same all over. The front and middle is fine and curls easily but the back is a pain.

Kinky Curly = way too crunchy for my taste. Used it once and its sitting in my bathroom pantry.

For the kinky curly curling custard do a LHCF search on that and KCCC there are tonnnnssssss of reviews on it!

I have tried the kinky curly - I ended up just tossing it. No matter how hard I tried to define curls that were not there I just gave up. My hair would also end up crunchy and sticky. I know just embrace my fluff.

I have super, super-tiny 4b spring spirals naturally and kinky curly custard will totally define your curls and coils and has great hold and smells good. BUT it's messy, gunky and will leave you really crunchy and with lots of build up (not on your scalp but on your hair) if you don't wash or rinse everyday. But for me it delivered on what it was supposed to do. And it did leave my hair in better condition (moisture wise) the longer I used it regularly.

I didn't like the curly pudding from Miss Jessie so I thought this would be better.

I sister told me how good our cousin's hair looked after she used that product. The girl had very coarse 4B hair and she had a nice curly wash n go yesterday.

KCCC works for me but it takes FOR-E-VER to dry! That's why I don't use it as much. But, I do like it.

Val is your siggy pic a twist out?

I haven't used the kinky curly, I think I'm gonna hold off until my hair gets longer.

I like KCCC and Knot Today. When I do use it I use a small amount and spritz with water to spread it throughout my hair. I don't get the crunch by doing it this way.

Kinky Curly gave me the jerri curl look no matter how little I used. I just didn't like it.

I tried the MH Type 4 Haircreme along time ago, but from what I remember it's just an oily creme product that gave me frizz and extreme shrinkage like all oily emulsions when I apply it to wet hair. It might work for those that do braids, twists, etc., but not me.
