Ok I finally found a Dominican Beauty supply here. I bought a few items including some Stoken Gold Cellophane. Ok, here is my issue: my dingbat behind bought Castano (chestnut) and not negro (black) which is what I want. However, the Castano is really dark in the bottle and may be the color I intended to get. If I use it tonight, how soon before I can use another color in case it isn't ? It is a veggie oil based rinse, no ammonia, no peroxide..

***Tires Screeching*** Are you around Detroit? If so, where'd u find a Dominican BSS? As far as coloring, that's the beautiful thing about rinses; if it isn't working, you can color right over it but the 2nd has t/b darker than the 1st (IMO). Now, give up the goods on the BSS so I can take my foot off the brakes

It is on the SW side. The address is 7946 Vernor. If you go to Michigan ave....never mind here is the mapquest link: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.ad...bZ80iMgDo7yM3R/wU3asOpAkUvOJ7Kg==&ambiguity=1

I so hope that works. The owner is Harlets aunt they have all kinds of stuff. I believe it is on the corner of Central and Vernor but I do know it is between a Valero gas station and a barber shop. It says only Beauty Supply and there is a sign that says dominican Products. When yo ugo in the store (think small neighborhood dollar store NOT dollar castle/tree) there is one divider. Go to the right, that is the beauty section. Owner is very nice but not super versed in English. She has Salerm, MissKey, Silicon Mix, Lacio Lacio, just to name a few! Her prices are decent, I think. I Silicon mix leave in was $10 and the Silicon mix treatment was 7.99. I bought this other conditioner bc it smelled good. The pj in me wanted to buy everything, lol. Her hours are Monday thru ? Saturday 10am-7pm.

From what I'm reading, you're simply trying to go darker. Therefore, you should be able to redo it by your next wash. There's no ammonia or peroxide, which would be my only concern with you doing it again within a short frame of time.

My castano (dark brown) was kind of reddish, too. It wasn't very noticeable in my opinion, only in light. But the shine was out of this world. I used colorshowers.

Yeah, it's ok to throw on another cellophane whenever you want :yep: I haven't done a cellophane in a long time. I need to get on it :whip:

so maybe I can use it like a clear then. I have NO idea how to explain the return. Maybe I could hold up the bottle, point, say this castano, I want negro? That sounds so silly when I typed it...Ugh Lemme get my sister, unless one of my LHCF sisters can translate it for me.

ok goofy me I am about to do it finally. I have a silly question though: when I sit under the dryer do I use a cap or without? Woops, I guess I have 2 questions: what setting do I use?
