Miss:
  • Aphogee Hot Oil Treatment (in the little tube) - Left my hair a tangled mess. :nono:
Hit:
  • NTM Daily Deep Conditioner - Used it after the Aphogee Hot Oil and made it really soft with lots of slip. :)
  • Redken Anti Snap Leave in - Been having a lil breakage so I used this as my leave in last nite. Have very little breakage this morning upon comb out! :yay:
Undecided:
  • Castor oil on wet hair - On my dry hair it's awesome. But something about my wet hair.... I may have to use a lil less or only apply it to my ends.
  • Rollersets - Just don't seem to work on my length of hair. I may wait to try again until my hair hits my jawline.

Hits:
Capilo Miel y Leche (honey and milk) conditioner

My old salon used to use the AG Fast Food Leave in...does anyone know where I can find it? That stuff was excellent on my hair!!!

Miss: Oil rinses on wet hair

Hit: Oil rinses on dry hair. I put EVOO on my dry hair, massaged it in then rinsed. Hair felt much better and not as sticky.

Thanks Kels and Nikki 1971!!! I found it...I will continue to be the PJ that I am and order some

On the fence: Phyto Organics humectin conditioner.

On my natural hair it really did not detangle. It was decent for moisture. But I am always looking for my conditioners to mositurize and detangle so I don't think i will be repurchasing.

I LOOOOVE Anti-Snap! I just got a three-pack off ebay. I wish I had known. I would have put it in your box!!

I tried Garnier Curl n Shine Leave In Conditoner and its a miss for me.
Tried it on my WSG and my hair felt so dry. Then I tried it with damp hair with some on the ends in a bun. When I took it out hair was just dry hard and blah!

Hit:
Joico K-Pak Reconstrucor- Great protein conditioner, creamy with great ingriedients.

Revisited Hit:
WRTC- This was perfect for moisturizing following the K Pak. :yep:

Miss:
Avalon Organics Nourishing poo- This left my hair a bit hard after rinsing and provided no slip or conditioning benefits. :nono:

Im no longer allowed to buy anything new until I use up what I have, so most of my hits are revisited or something I forgot I had and dug out. Many products I thought were nothing special now seem to work great on my hair and I honestly think I just didnt like them before because my hair was in such bad shape nothing was going to help it until I started over.

New Hits:
1)Castor Oil --what took me so long to try it!
2) DC'ing dry hair: Ive been doing this at the gym after I workout, I put conditioner and a cap on and sit in the sauna...
3) Oil rinses
4) final rinse with ice cold ACV rinse: I fill a pitcher with ice water and a little ACV and pour it over my head over the sink when I get out of the shower. I just cant stand cold water on my body lol...but on my head its pretty refreshing!

Those are a few tweaks I made to my regimen and my hair has never felt better! I cant keep my hands out of it because it feels so soft, I cant get over it!

Miss:
Tressemme Remoisturize Conditioner

Hit: Pantene Time Renewal poo, condish and mask
Pretreating hair with silk amino acids before relaxing
Burt's Bee's prepoo

Miss:Endall!! Works great but I really MISS it:sad:

MAJOR HIT...adding peppermint oil to shampoo & conditioner. I wish I would have found out about this a long time ago. It felt so good and stimulating

Hit: DOLLAR GENERAL, lol! They sell Sunsilk the cheapest it comes around here ($3.25). So I picked up another Hydra TLC 24/7 Creme and the shampoo (want to try it). If you bought the shampoo, you got free samples of the conditioner and 24/7 creme (in cute little bottles). Aaaannnndddd I got $2 off (coupons)! I'm more excited about that than anything else I bought today. A dern shame, I know :look:!
