That's what the JCPenney clerk said. I made her repeat it 4 times. I know she, and the other clerks and patrons, thought I was nuts. :drunk: I just rediscovered Humectress and my hair was lovin' it. :( I brought two bottles of Humectin. The second bottle was only $0.88 and I was too distraught to remember what else from the line had rave threads.

In Salons yea... but not in drugstores, right? :nono: I love my Keraphix and Therapee much more than the Phyto Organics equivalents.

I asked that too. She said if you see it in grocery or drug stores it's because they had it in stock. When it runs out that's it.

Noooooooooooooooo!

I've just decided that THAT is the brand that me and my hair love best! I wonder if we can find out if this is true across the board?

*running in circles*

Okay, I just went to the Nexxus website and emailed them on the "contact us" link . . . I'll let you know what I hear.

I feel ya. I'm upset too. If I see any Humectress in the grocery store tomorrow I'm buying them all.

I know a lot of stores have done that but I didn't know Nexxus was actually replacing the line as far as production goes. Noooooo! :cry3: My hair didn't like the Humectin!! What am I gonna do without my Humectress?

They got the big pump jammy at our Sam's club, lots of them...I should buy them out and save them for my girls here!!

Walgreen's has that special I posted about yesterday. I know I need to go get some Aloe Rid, I love that clarifying poo!! I need to get one of each thing because I only tired the Aloe Rid really. I have a sample size of the Heat Protect...hmmmmm.....

Glib let us know what they say!! I don't wanna switch poo and con. I've been using these two for going on 5 years now.

Ok, I feel a little better. It hasn't completely dried, but it seems to be liking Humectin. It doesn't feel like Humecto does tho. *whew*

There were 3 women. They were all nodding in agreement as I rephrased the same question a billion different ways hoping (in vain) there was some confusion.

I just called Sally's to have them hold all of the ones that had. She said they had a whole bunch and she hadn't heard it was discontinued. She said they usually know 6 months prior. She thought maybe it was just JcPenney Salons.

Wondering,

Is the Phyto Line completely different and has anyone used it? I see it the store all the time, but never tried that line.

The Humectress didn't work for me in the past, so I gave to my sister and she loved it. Curious about the Phyto Line though if anyone has feedback.

I tried it for the first time today. I'm still undecided. My hair is drying a lil' fluffier than usual. Almost like it has more volumizing agents than Humectress. Volumizers usually do nothing but make my hair tangled and dry. Right now it's still soft and seems to be doing good... I'll know more tomorrow. :ohwell:

Humectress and Phyto Humectin are different, right down to the ingredients. I have both, I like for my hair the Humectin and Humectress on my daughters hair but I still love to use Proclaim Aloe & Shea Butter with both no matter what.

ok thanks much sareca. i have had my eye on it for a while but i rarely stray from my nioxin. i was thinking of trying this one though and will wait for your final review on it :).

I hope this is not true. First, Sebastian Colorshines, now this? :nono: I just started using their aloe rid yesterday and I  love it!

Oh Heck...there goes my restful Saturday! I'll be going from place to place bargaining and stocking up...why, why, why do these hair companies I use keep doing this???!!!!:wallbash:

Hopefully it's just at the JC Penny salons, because this is the same thing Trade Secrets's said b4 the Phyto Organics line came out, and it turned out that only they wouldn't be saling it any more. They me up there like 3x'z a wk. trying to stock up.

:funny:
First my microwave brokedown, now this? I need a drink. :drunk2:

Guys this replacement has taken place already. The original line is not being removed off the market but it will be replaced by the Phyto Organic line in salons. The original line is retail now and can be found at stores like Walmart.

I just saw a really nice commercial for humectress and therappe while watching dancing with the stars. Hopefully that's a good sign, and the products are only being replaced in jcp.
