I know most of us have some revisted hits each month. What are yours? What things have you forgot about but totally impressed you once again?

For me it was Nexxus Therape shampoo. It made my hair feel so soft when washing. I borrowed some out of my sisters stash and I was amazed. I haven't used it in maybe a year or so but I need to get some next month. I let the suds sit on for a minute or so and my feels clean yet soft and supple.

Your turn

Girl, you must have been reading my mind.

Aveda Brilliant. I'd been trying out a bunch of new stuff. Today I went back to my old standby and nothing else compares. I won't stray as far again. :nono:

Creme of Nature Shampoo
and
Terax Crema Conditioner

The Creme of Nature Shampoo is one that I used to use long ago and alway had a bottle around. However, I started using 'high end' shampoos (Aveda, Elucence, Mizani, KeraCare specifically) and forgot about it over the years. Took it out a month or so ago and started using it again. Now I use it for nearly every shampoo. It's just simply the best there is. I love it and will continue to use it. I will also stick with my Aveda but CON is my fav.

Terax Crema--started using the Dominican conditioners---Alter Ego Coconut Mask Conditioner and Capilo Sole and Cinnamon Conditioner for my DC's. Well, they are GREAT conditioners and I loved them...used them exclusively for approximately 3 weeks. On Wednesday I washed and used my trusted Terax instead. Again, there is REALLY nothing better. My hair LOVES Terax and the results are always great each time I use it. Great slip, healthy hair, no breakage......healthy sheen. Love this stuff and although I will continue to use the Alter Ego Mask as an alternative. I will faithfully use my Terax forever. There is no replacing it.

yes, elasta qp creme conditioning shampoo.
it has been sitting there for a while, and I went back for it recently and can believe how much detangling and slip i got.

I still haven't tried that yet. I got a sample sized bottle, I need to go ahead and use it. I know it has to be good if your replaced your beloved DR with this one.

Castor oil and nioxin vitamins!!! Castor oil kept my hair from breaking and nioxin grows my grass well. It's been a week and a day and I have new growth already. :spinning:

I forgot Elasta QP Mango Butter was so GOOD at laying down my natural edges. Whenever I want my hair to lay down, I just rub some in my palm with a little water and then smooth over my edges with my hands. Then I put on a scarf and I am good for the next day.

I have not used Salerm 21 in 6 month and forgot how much my airdried hair loved this product.
Daily Defense Tender Apple reminded me why I stockpiled-great slip and detangling on rough new growth.
Lekair Cholestorol Peach has been in rotation lately.

Aussie Moist Conditioner - Great Slip
Lusters Pink Holding Spring - Holds my curls , has moisturizers, and sunscreen
ORS Repleneshing Pak - These are the greatest

Yes, gym, you must try this. It is better than DR, as much as I hate to say it. I love DR, but this Brilliant is amazing!! :yep:

But, my revisiteds are as follows:

Hairveda SheaAloe butter
Garnier L&S con for cowashes and mixed w/oils for prepoo
Hollywood Beauty Carrot Oil

I have been bringing the SheaAloe and Carrot Oil to work (I work 12hour nights) to use for late night moisture re-ups. I don't know why I stopped doing this. It's much better for my hair.

VO5 Free Me Freesia Conditioner

It had been some time since I used it. I saw it in my hair products closet and used it. I fell in love all over, again.:grin:

Miss Jessies' Baby Buttercreme

I got some last year from the infamous BOGO sale they had. I have a ton of it left over. I used some on my last wash (Friday) and my hair has remained soft without having to add a bunch of products everyday.

I forgot Jamila Henna was so GOOD. I am sitting with it in my hair right now. I also spiked it with a few drops of peppermint oil and it feels so good.

Better than DR? *clutches pearls*

off to ebay to look for it:rolleyes:

Natural Oasis... I have the grease - no petroleum or mineral oil - my hair loves it and drinks it up. Makes my hair soft and very shiny.

This thread was right on time GymFreak! This just happend to me the other day....Mine were Kenra MC and Aussie 3 Min Mir....Can you say, "dummy slip???":yep:

Cosign....this shampoo was my last "oh shoot why did i stop using this?!?" product.

I wanted to try everything i saw on the board and for some reason thought of everything i used before the board as "trash", and con was one of them--untill i picked it up in the store one time. NEVER turned back. Dont even need conditoner after this (still use it though)
