Hair Straightners which one ? is GHD the best?

Im getting proper lost trying to choose what to use on my hair, I went the hair dressers and they were trying to get me too buy like everything. I went online to try and find stuff.

I have really curly hair and I want it straight soooo much, which styler do people recommend.

Im loving the look of the new Pink GHD Styler. people help me pleaseerplexed

I haven't used a GHD before. I have 2 solia flat irons (1 1/4 and 1 3/4)and I love them. They get my hair very straight and very smooth. Also get a good heat protectant when flatironing to protect your hair. I use Aveda's emollient finishing gloss. Hi Joejoe,

I'm guessing you are from the UK ("proper lost" is very London)

What I've noticed from these boards is that GHDs are not as big in the US as they are in the UK.

I've been using GHDs for about 3 years now and cannot fault them. I straighten my hair when I wash it and I never need to touch it up. They are very effective, get very hot but not hot enough to fry your hair.

I'd recommend buying them on ebay. There are lots of salons selling them on ebay close to salon prices. You might save £30-40.

Another thing is, I think the pink is a bit more expensive even though they do the same job.
