Wash and Go wearers...

...do you scrunch or "leave it alone" after applying your product(s)? I have seen differing opinions and need to know!

ETA: I should specify-for maximum curl

I find that if I leave it alone, my hair dries straight and silky with no frizz.

good question...doesnt really make much of a difference with my hair. I think its because im texlaxed and my hair is pretty uneven...

Even the pony tail method doesnt work for me

I've settled on John Frieda's Dream Curls for my best wash-n-gos. I usually cowash and then spray on Dream Curls. Scrunch for maximal curliness and then leave it alone until it dries. It turns out really cute.

I've used other products before and if I scrunch it just leads to frizz.

leave it alone...scrunching makes my hair shrink up and look shorter than it actually is.

Are you relaxed or natural. On my relaxed hair I had to crunch like crazy to get my curls. I have pics in my Fotki. When I had longer natural hair I left it alone. Meaning I applied the product and just let it air dry...it took hours.

I agree, I dont scrunch. I'm transitioning so that may make a difference. My un-natural hair is texlaxed, so it's not bone straight.

I scrunch only when I apply the products after that I leave it alone until it's completely dry.

I jiggle the roots for volume and I scrunch product thru. then i leave it alone to dry.
