Just curious :yep:

The PJ in me wants to try all these yummy new moisturizing conditioners i just purcahsed (silk2 moistec, design essential stimulations) but i know i should probably use something with protein.

My first conditioning treatment after a relaxer is Aphogee 2 min reconstructor which is the best(to me) or Motions reconstructor which is good also... There are many others to use... you have to experiment to see which is best for your hair... I always follow up with a deep moisturizing conditioner...

I use my UBH deep conditioner...contains a mild protein and is very moisturizing and soothing to the scalp with that tingle of peppermint oil!

For a more heavier protein I will use my aphogee treatment for damaged hair and then follow up with a deep con.

I was wondering the same thing. Just relaxed on tuesday and although they used affirm 5 in 1 with my relaxer, I have the itch to try my 12 en 1 that is coming in the mail. It has collagen and is supposed to be moisturizing, so I guess I'll have to experiment. I would like to hear from the ladies that use a reconstructor at touchup, how long they wait before doing any protein at all.:feedback:

Thanks ladies...

I used aveda DR treatment to condition on relaxer day, so im thinking i need something heavier for my next wash. i just looked at my hair calendar and realized i havent done a hard core protein tx in 7weeks, so im going to use aphogee next wash day.

Within a week of a touch up I condition with keracare super reconstructor, following up with affirm 5 in 1 mixed with positive link & finally moisturize with humecto & keracare conditioner for color treated hair.
