I tend to use 2 tubes per week - I mix a whole tube with a "grease" and I just apply the other tube directly to my scalp.

Since MN is in a cream form, I just apply it to small partings and then massage my scalp to "spread" it evenly.
 
Walgreens had tubes of Neosporin AF (2%) on sale for $1.79 per tube so I bought the two that they had left. I think that they must have changed the packaging or something because different looking tubes were about $6 each. I also bought the 4% equate cream and 2% cream in a package together for $8. I am hoping that it works just as well mixed with surge or some kind of oil, because I am not trying to be in Walmart every week buying this stuff. I think that I may just go in one day and buy a lot and then not show my face there for a while.:lachen:

I've been using mn since the middle of apr and I love the results I am getting from it. I have been consistantly getting 3/4 of an inch or more since I've started using it, and it doesnt smell like anything. Do you think that mixing it with other non growth stimulating products will cause it too not be as effective? I know it costs alot but I found this place on ebay where it costs a little less then $1.50 for a 1 oz tube. I get 8 (a months worth) for 21.05 including shipping.

I bought the equate one from walmart 1.59oz for $5 something and then I went to the dollar store and picked up two more 0.5oz tubes for a dollar each. I mixed mine with teatree oil, castor oil, and coconut oil. I just applied some minutes ago.
 
Ok, are you ladies scared that applying it with so many other products may dillute it too much, like what happened to many MTG users who saw no effects? Is it possible to over :look:dillute it?

I have some suppositories but i am wondering why this stuff cost so much money. I paid 14.99 plus tax for mine. before this challenge.:look:
 
I down for some new growth ill get some today and post back! my hubby already thinks im crazy cuz im n this site all the time! Just wait till I come home with boxes of vag creams and tell him that thier for my hair:lachen:
 
O.K. so I went to the wal-mart and brought thier brand of MN 2% with the 7 day supply for about 5.45 or so. I came home after I brought it yesterday and here is my recipe.
mixed the tube with a couple drops of
olive oil
avacodo oil
castor oil,
table spoon of sulfar 8

I was wondering the same thing. I am using dermadoctor foot cream for my mn cream. So far it hasn't dried my hair out and my scalp isn't itchy so I say so good so far. I was thinking about maybe just adding a couple of drops of oil to mine though.
 
I started this on Saturday..I'm going to take before and after pics. I'm using the generic from walmart. I'm usin' it straight.
 
Lord have mercy, I might actually start doing this. I love, love my hair, and I'm okay with the growth rate - except for my front/temple hairline.... and, they are also the ONLY place on my head that get any sort of flakes/dandruff.....so an antifungal might be just what I need.... ummhmm...

I wanna know how ya'll put stuff on your scalp without getting it on your hair though - is that a relaxed hair only kinda thing? :grin:

I'm debating if I should go the cheap/bulk route through eBay, or just start small with one expensive container.... choices, choices!
 
i just started using this stuff after reading so many posts about it.I was wondering if anyone has found it in a large amount.I don't want to keeep buying these little tubes.I bought the 2% equate brand from wal-mart(it cost 5 something)and i'm almost out already.any ideas?

I think this is why some people mix the MN with something else (BT, Sulphur 8, etc.) - I tend to use 2 tubes per week.

I added four tiny drops of cayenne oil and 3/4 drops of peppermint to about 2 capsules of mine.
 
I'm In:yep:! I just mixed up a tube w/ some BT, and Rosemary, Peppermint and Emu oils. I am using it only on the right side of may hair and front hairline. I am trying to get the right/shorter side to catch up to the left.

I had a small baby tube (dunno how many ounces) and I added it to about 1/4 bottle of BT. I just started Sunday nite, I only use a little and just massage it in.
