has anyone tried the microwavable heat caps??

im thinking about getting one. i already have a soft bonnet but it kills me to stay in one place
how has this worked for you? and can you use it to somewhat dry your hair or is it just for heat treatments?

Have tried them and they were a complete joke. I think there was a thread here not long ago asking about them.

Mine never got warm enough to do any good

I forgot what the other comment was but it wasn't good

The comments came from natural and relaxed ladies.

In short it was at least 3 thumbs down.

I bought two from curlmart.com. Mine get very hot (burn the top of my head:burning sometimes, and the gel packs did explode in the microwave a few times. I did purchase some replacement packs online, because I like the freedom from the dome dryer. Once you get the hang of it, they can get the job done.

There is a previous thread re: the microwave heatcaps, and a fairly recent one at that. Conduct a search to locate it.
