I am at a point where I think I have learned enough about proper hair care and hair science that I have a good hold on what I need to do. If I couldn't ask anymore hair questions I would be okay. Now, I just need to be patient and let it grow:ohwell: but I get so stir crazy.

I need to find another obsession to divert my attention so I don't do something stupid like go blond:wallbash: I think I am going to move to my skin. My have good skin, I don't breakout much but I would on fading a little scar on the side of my face. I also started the skin biology method for taking care of body imperfections.

What's next for you?

Good question, Gymfreak!

I think my next exploration (well, it's actually been ongoing for the last THOUSAND years) :sekret: is to really tackle losing some weight and keeping it off!

Have a great Labor day, everyone!

The body, which is my next 6 month goal...
(whether it be achieved through the gym/dance/or some semi-violent alternative that involves hitting and/or kicking)

Not looking to lose weight - toning and staying away from Doritos & Butter Crunch cookies are my issues..

I know the feeling.

Mine is skincare and weight loss.

I think I have found a skin care regimen through some of you wonderful ladies. I just started it this week so I am going to do this until the end of the month to see if it works.

Baking soda with citrus juice for a mask

Baking soda and witch hazel as a face wash and then using a little Camellia oil as a moisturizer. In 7 days I am already notices the acne leaving as well as the dark spots. Who Knew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????

Now I am in a wait and see mode with that and moving next to weight loss regimen. I started walking around my neighborhood for 1 hour 4 days a week. Will soon mix some strength training in there somewhere.

All of this knowledge I have gained mainly from you ladies on this site.

Not sure what I am going to do after that. :perplexed:grin:

I am sure I will think of something though, maybe increase my volunteer work at the church or the community. Who knows!?

My skin(I'm about to order some 50% lactic acid for some peels) and I will try exfoliating with a brush dipped in EVOO.

Then I have to closely monitor my water in take b/c I'm bad, really bad.

Taking supplements...Iron 325mg and prenatals is on the top of my list as well.

Loosing weight is at the bottom of my list b/c right know I'm to stressed to concerm myself with that, maintaining alone is hard for me right now.

I need to stop obsessing over my hair too...
I think my next thing is to get my money right...
and try to be a multi-millionaire...
if I put half as much effort into making money
that I put into hair stuff... I'd be gooooooooood

Lactic acid peels are the truth. They're right up there with microdermabrasion. I use 40% and alternate between the peels and microderm every 2 weeks.

I would use 40% too but can't find it on Amazon the only place I would order from.Where do you get yours from?
They even have 70% but I'm too scared of that:perplexed

Spirituality
Becoming more balanced w/ my emotions
Getting my finances together/learning to budget
Weight/Health
Finding my personal style

Being consistent in reading the Word
Being spiritually and emotionally healthy
WEIGHT LOSS
Saving Money

Getting my body toned and fit and clearing up my skin.
Same here! Working on my body is definitely going to be my next obsession. I don't have bad skin, but taking supplements really threw it off for a bit. Even though I'm not taking supps at the moment, my skin still hasn't quite bounced back yet. I'm thinking about getting some Proactiv.

my oldest daughter has bad acne ad proactiv really cleared it up. I do like it but it was expensive it was 55 dollars a month. I don't know if it went down or not but it cleared her skin to perfection just in time for her prom. That was a couple of years ago but everyone was amazed at how fast it cleared up her skin. Well I am not a walking commercial I think its worth a try.

The 50% made my skin breakout which I hear isn't a bad thing. It supposedly means it's reaching deeper into the pores, but I wasn't having it.

I buy from makeupartistschoice.com I've been shopping there for about 4-5 years. I absolutely love them. The 1/2 oz bottle lasts me almost 6 months doing them 2x/month. They reduce blemish scars, tighten and brighten as well as tone the skin.

I get my microdermabrasion sponges from http://www.dermanesse.com/Dermanesse/Home/index.cfm. If you have acne scars you won't for long using these things. :nono:

Oh! If you haven't been over to the makeup discussion forum here. I tried an aspirin/lemon juice rub that blew my mind.
