I can not believe I waited so long to try this. I purchased this some time ago from a wonderful lhcf member, but I just tried it last night. Let me tell you...I know now what people say about the difference between the bottle and the tub. The tub is much thicker and I can get a lot of use out of it (being that my hair is fine). When I rinsed, every single tangle came out and I am 6 weeks post (this is a very rare occurence for me). I will remember to be light handed with it next time because I had to rinse for a while to get it all out but I could comb through tangles under the shower with no problem.

Thanks to everyone who gave this nice reviews!

i was just about to purchase some more of the detangling shampoo and considering if i should try this! now i think i will. i really wasn't impressed by the humecto in the bottle.

how long do you leave it on? and do you use with heat or did you use it like an instant conditioner?

Usually, when I used the humecto in the bottle, I would slather it on (because it was so light) and then apply Humectress mixed with a little glycerin to the ponytail area only (leaving all of this on for 20 mins).I would just cover my hair with a plastic cap, then a hot towel, and then another cap to hold the towel on.

This time I only used humecto in the tub and went under the hooded dryer for 10 mins with a plastic cap. My hair feels so soft right now!!

hmmmm, sounds like i need to try this. that crap in the bottle doesnt do a thing for me. must be different ingredients.

I know. It really is watery. It's just I had been using it for like 3-4 years straight and it was the only conditioner that could detangle my hair. I couldn't see myself paying $40 bucks for conditioner. That's why i waited so long, but it's well worth it.

I just started using humecto (in the tub) again. I can't remember why I ever stopped. My hair is thanking me again! :yep:

Looks Like I may have to try this.:yep: Where do you all get yours from? Do you buy online? if so where or do you buy from the BSS? Thanks a bunch

Humecto in the tub is sooooooooooooo much better than in the bottle and I have bought both. There is real difference between the 2. Also, the one in the tub has lasted me a whole year! And I was being very heavy-handed. You don't need much of it at all - it detangles really well - it will stay as my staple.

I heard some people could get the tub from ebay? I'm not sure though. Luckily the hair shop just down the road sells it, so I've not had to buy it online. But check out ebay I'd say.

you could make a killing by selling containers of it to the members on here :yep:....

:bump: Where can you buy this stuff??????

go here: http://www.avlon.com/keracare.html and look for salons in your area that sell it . i think you have to be a registered cosmetologist to get the tub tho. check out some bss. i found one called fat boys and its down the street from my house and they sell a whole bunch of products that you normally would have to buy from a stylist or order directly from the company . also call avlon/ keracare and see if they have distributors in your area. you can get the regular shampoos and cons from jc pennys salon

I usually buy from discount-beauty.com. They aren't the fastest shippers (or the best cust service), but I've haven't found anyplace better.
