Fashion Gurus...I Need Your For A Birthday Event Tonight. This an Emergency!

I have surprise birthday party to go to tonight. I was a little unsure of the place. My plan was to wear a pair of nice dark fitted blue jeans, a pink silk top and some heels.

For some reason I text the honoree's wife and asked was this a dressy event. Her text back to me was "Yeah, cosmo like". This may sound dumb, but what is Cosmo?

Now I have to go run out on my lunch break to find something cosmo.

Lol, I'm not sure about cosmo either but when you asked her if it was dressy she did say yeah so maybe go with a pair of dress pants instead of the jeans to be on the safe side. You can't really go wrong there.

If I'm not mistaken, "cosmo" is short for cosmopolitan, which I usually associate with urban-chic... think Sex and the City, toned down to your own tatses, of course. Something classy, but still fun and flirty... I'd probably go with a simple, sleek black dress and a nice pair of heels..top it off with a cute updo and call it a night

Yep she meant sexy dressy when she said cosmo like. A simple black dress would be great or even a sexy pants suit with very fly accessories (big jewerly).
