Deep Moisture without cones or mineral oil

Hello everyone! Is there a deep conditioner that moisturizes really well without cones or mineral oil? I recently bought Aubrey Organics Island Naturals conditioner and it just sat on my hair. I left it in overnight and when I took off the shower cap, you could just see it sitting there on my hair. I don't think it did very much. I put it on dry hair, maybe I should've wet my hair first? Any suggestions are welcome (both for the application of that conditioner and for any other good conditioners that meet the above criteria).

i don't find ao island naturals very moisturizing, it's more like a replenisher

conditioners i like without cones and without mineral oil:

the aubrey organics white camellia smoothing condtioner is very moisturizing and has slip

Thanks for the recommendations! Before I read all these suggestions, I used some more of the Island Naturals conditioner, this time as a leave-in. Oh, my hair feels like butta! It's so soft and smooth. It feels happier and softer. I will let you know in a day or so if it proves to actually be moisturizing. It feels soft now, but only time will tell the real story. If it doesn't work out for me, I will try some of your suggestions. How much is the Elucence and can it only be bought online?

Slightly OT, but my hands are soo soft after using this conditioner. I bet this would make a great body lotion in a pinch!

Guess your hair didnt like it as a prepoo!! Glad it worked out better a different way...I hate when you want something to work and it comes out like doo doo. I used the Giovanni Smooth as Silk shampoo and 50/50 Balance Remoisturizer and its comparable in price to AO I think.

Lustrasilk Cholesterol Olive Oil. It actually has a lot of Olive Oil in it with tons of other good stuff.

Does the Lustrasilk contain Protein?
I use EQP, because it was the only DC that was moisture only but i have to clarify because it has dimethicone.

I don't think any of the Cholesterols have protein. I always add an egg to it.

I say don't give up on the Aubrey Organics line!!!! For me, this product works best with heat (both on dry and wet hair). Yes, if you just let it sit on your head without it, it will not really penetrate the hair. However, when I use heat, and I take off my shower cap, it has almost completely absorbed in my hair. Give that I try before the bottle is thrown out.

But cheaper alternative is mixing some Aubrey HSR w/ Giovanni 50/50 moisturizing conditioner.. you can mix it to your likeness as far as thickness is concerned. Use this w/ heat for 15 min and your moisture level might improve.
Another hit for me but pricier is KBB deep conditioner..
For a leave in I add more moisture using KBB Hair Nectar.

consistent use is key!
the ingredients in those conditioners are just pure moisture!!!!

I haven't used that conditioner from AO, but I have used the HSR and WC and they are both great. Are you sure you didn't need to clarify before you used it? Or maybe that particular one just sucks, I dunno.

Are there any really good drugstore DC's? (Ones that actually penetrate the hair). I use vo5 moistutre milks but I don't think they penetrate (although they're really good!).
