I got boho braids with human hair six weeks ago. I love the style, the versatility, and, even more, that it fits my lifestyle. I also have daily access to my scalp I can just get up in the morning and go, while still looking decent.

I found a salon that is also reasonably priced, professional, and braids my hair with little to no tension.

I plan on having this style for a while, but I don't want to buy new human hair each time I get it braided. Not only is it expensive, but I think it is wasteful. Can I simply untangle the knots in the human hair during the take-down process and reuse it?

Yes! This great.

I detangle the human hair while it's still braided to my hair to limit shedding and therefore wasted hair in the brush. I will definitely reuse my bulk hair because it is just too wasteful.

I found a nice little salon in Harlem that is reasonably, they don't require my hair to be stretched straight before braiding, nor do they braid too tight. I'm excited to go back to them again.

I know plenty of women reuse natural hair, I've never done it so I don't feel I can advise on that, but I do understand your reasons for wanting to fo this. Hair is so expensive these days, especially if you are purchasing a high quality, and if the quality is of a high standard, it should technically be reusable. I hope it works out for you.
