Do you regularly visit salons for any services? If the answer is no, then you are a DIY lady. Making your own products is a part of being a DIYer, but not the extent of it. For me, it essentially means that you do most things for yourself. Wash, treatments, roller set, silk press, braids, etc.As much as I tell myself I want to be, deep down in my heart, I'm not a DIY lady. Mixing a few tablespoons of oil or honey into a deep conditioner is cool but all the teas, pastes, powders, and infusions aren't for me.
I'm strictly talking about products when I mention DIY.Do you regularly visit salons for any services? If the answer is no, then you are a DIY lady. Obviously there maybe times when you may need to seek professional advice or might want to treat yourself to a service at a salon. I very rarely visit a salon for anything, and completely regard myself as someone who DIY my hair care.
I am keen to make my own prepoos, butter whips and gels, but I have no intentions of making my own shampoo or conditioners. I won't be ready to make my own products until I've locked down my staple products.
Sorry, I thought you were talking about DIY in general, don't mind meI'm strictly talking about products when I mention DIY.

Mo Knows HER HairI didn’t sell my Mo knows hair products. (Person changed their mind). So I kept them and added glycerin to the deep conditioner and cowash. Voila! Both products made my hair feel like silk. Next project is to add glycerin to the styling products. Use up and then I'm done with Mo.
Yes! Very goodMo Knows HER Hair

My Crazy PJ Days are long gone but my Stash is still Hella-Big...
Disclaimer:
Although, recently I was in Burling.ton and saw all these different Skala's on the shelf and started feeling a mild twinge
I think mostly because those large jars were $5.99![]()
. And I need to leave the makeup/skin care alone too
.....

@NappStarted putting oil and pomade in my hair and it’s great! I just use a light hand

I really liked the Hydration one I've got, there's another 3 I want to try, I don't think the babosa was on my list though.I’m addicted to Skala! I can cowash, deep condition and leave it in. The babosa is litty.
The babosa defines my curls so well. I have a little Skala stash now because they work so well for me and are cheap especially at burlingtonI really liked the Hydration one I've got, there's another 3 I want to try, I don't think the babosa was on my list though.

Same. I already have so much. I'm tired of rearranging stuff to make more room.@Napp @Angel of the North
