On The Fence
L'Oreal Preshampoo Bond Strengthening Concentrate

I got it since L'Oreal owns Redken products and it is a supposed dupe for the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate. But idk about it. It does help my hair feel strong and all, but it dries my hair out for a few weeks after using it, even after using my most moisturizing DCs and conditioners. I am slightly protein sensitive, but I always thought that bonding is not protein so I am confused as to why my hair is reacting like I put a heavy protein treatment in my hair. I will try mixing it with a moisturizing conditioner to see if it helps the dryness issue.

Hit
Redken heavy cream hair felt nice and soft after wash day which makes for this
Miss
Hair wow heat spray as it made my hair dry and weirdly coated. This is ok when I’m 10+ weeks post

hit: suave strawberry conditioner as a prepoo. Only $1 and just as good as the african pride prepoo; more economical too! I just love saving money on hair products

dr bronner's peppermint castile soap to clarify---I love the minty cooling feeling on my scalp. It's nice to get that squeaky clean feeling. I wear braids as a protective style and I like to wash my hair biweekly as a rest. This is great for that & follow up with my moisturizing shampoo

Using minimal products. I am working on using my stash up. My goal is to have 4 products only

miss: design essentials avocado leave-in. Io used this up recently and will not repurchase

Pattern Beauty Treatment mask after cleansing, with the Pattern Beauty hair steamer. Finished with PB Intensive conditioner.
After my hair was shiny, moisturized, and my grays were less obvious for several days after.
Pattern Beauty has proven to be a brand that I love for my hair. Thank you Tracee!

Big massive miss
The ordinary peptide serum it gave me migraines I guess in my peri sensitivity I can’t just use anything. That is in the trash now.

On the fence - satin sling wrap under wig cap. My edges were suffering bad from the rubbing of the wig cap. My current braid pattern doesn't allow for me to wear the wig behind my hairline so something had to give.

It's only been about a week but my hair already feels less dry so I think it's working.

@Plushottie
I was thinking "Skin" not Hair.

Now that I'm in this Skin Care Game Hair right now - that's where my mind went first - not to mention, I think I have "The Ordinary" Peptide Serum for skin.:artist2:

Hair botox
It’s a hit for me. It gives me the look and feel I want. It’s like it makes my hair much better to accept water. My natural hair was damn near water resistant. Now I’m using the same products and I have to use significantly less.

I also want to add Miche Boost is excellent as a refresher/moisturizer for wash and goes. It extends the life of my wash and goes from 3 days to 7+. I only have to use it 1-2 times a week

Hit on another level Redken quick blowout has me blown away. Quick results and my hair is extra soft and fluffy. Me and redken will be married in spring I may turn from my cheating ways and trash everything other than redken.
