For those who take wheatgrass for hair growth

Please share do you buy it frozen ( and where from) or go to a store for a "shot" daily?

I can get shots from Jamba juice or Robeks. I honestly tried to drink it down once and I could not drink that whole little cup. It has the weirdest taste. Maybe I should try again but dang....what are the benefits?

Yeah, I tried one of those shots too and just about tossed it up. I was like chewing grass. :Cow: Yuk!

I seen on macherieamour's blog she has one shot a day that equals 2lbs of vegetables i just wanted to know where to go to get it... i already take the chlorella powder form and that too is no great taste, but the benefits are well worth it

Girl you gotta take it to the head! You can't try to savor it because it's disgusting.

I don't do a daily shot, but I do occasional shots when I'm near Robek's or JJ. I hold my nose and take the shot to the head...then I follow it with a taste of an orange slice.

ETA: The vitamin K is part of what encourages growth. The wheatgrass contains chlorophyll among other nutrients that promote growth and healthy hair.

Divine Inspiration was right. You just have to swallow it immediately. I just had one yesterday, but they gave me a chaser ... apple juice. I usually get E3Live shots too. But those do not taste bad.

I didn't know they did that! Girl, I sho nuff called them up after reading this. Will be taking a trip to Whole Foods in the very near future.

i had made another thread about chlorella, but basically it is a super green food like wheatgrass or spirulina, but has many benefits and has been taken for increased hair growth and thickness, but it has many health benefits as well such as increase energy.

I took the frozen ones and they didn't do much for me. Fresh is always better....IMO
