I've been natural my whole life (18Yrs!), well i had 2 texturizers when i was about 7/8 yrs old but ALL my hair reverted like a day later!

Since joining this board I have found that there are quite a few ladies that wear their hair in the natural state. My question is how long have you been natural? I'm natural and I have been natural for 18 YEARS!!!

15 Years for me.

Although I did not have chemicals, I had a lot of breakage from poor techniques, habits and methods. Shampooing everyday, Flat ironing every other day, pressing with no grease. The condition of my hair since I have been a member here has increased a hundredfold. Now my hair is sexy and healthy. Still confused about which naturals styles to wear and if I really should get a texlax/texturizer to make my hair easier to maintain. I will stick it out til the end of the year and then see if I want a change.....
