Do you have a preferred brand of Cholelsterol, and if so why? How do you use it, and what benefits do you see from it?

So far, I have seen a few posts about Queen Helene and LeKair.

I am 4c, extremely coarse & resistant - 10 weeks post, and I just put in a weave as a protective this weekend. When I take it out, I should be 15 weeks post. I would like to use the cholesterol immediately upon taking the weave out as a prepoo and to practice my relaxing time and technique. I am a newbie still trying to build a regimen and a fotki.

Lustrasilk shea butter: great for co-washes, DCs and just makes our hair sooo soft. Cheap too!

benefits: softer moistured strenghten nourished hair

Queen Helene fo Life:lachen:

I love it because it is so thick, and it lathers. Also I can tell when its ready...if that makes sense. I can feel it softening over the course of the 30 minutes/w heat that I use it.:yep:

Plus its cheap...Right now its buy one get one free at Walgreens (make sure you look for the bonus size)

Queen Helene with Ginseng.

Leaves my hair soft and manageable, with little to no hair's in the tub as i rinse it out.

I tried Hollywood Beauty Carrot Cholesterol and loved it. I mixed it with the Hollywood Beauty Carrot Oil and my hair is so soft. It is cheap at CVS.

LeKair Shea Butter Cholesterol Creme

I like these they are so thick and yummy. I used to use them as pre-poo but now I use them for deep conditioning.

Hollywood Beauty Olive Cholesterol is another good one, it has nice ingriedients and smells like candy too.

I love the silk elements conditioners. I've tried the Mega and the Moisturizing treatment. Now I use it as the base to mix all my other oils and conditioners into when I DC.

I love the Lustrasilk Aloe Cholesterol Conditioner because it is their Detangling Formula and works wonders on tangles and new growth. I really want to try the Silk Elements conditioners too. Maybe next BSS trip.

Queen Helene and Lustrasilk.:yep: I use to used THE most espensive conditioners before LHCF' and I cant beleive how great this stuff works.

also are theses listing moisturizing conditioners? or protein?

-thanks

Silk Elements Cholesterol and Hollywood Beauty Carrot Cholesterol are the ones I prefer.
If I can find the Lustrasilk Shea, I will be trying that out. I can't seem to find it. It is always sold out.

I LOVE lustrasilk's shea and mango Cholesterol. I'm about 10 weeks post and I was getting really frustrated with my NG. I used this stuff as a DC and my hair Is so soft and managable. afterwards I flat ironed my hair and It looked like I just got a perm. It Smells really good too!!!

(I use cholesterols as pre-poos)

Hollywood beauty Olive oil one is good. Especially with their oils.

And then LeKair Cholesterol.

I am using Queen Helene's ginseng, and it's *okay*

LeKair Shea Butter Cholesterol. I like to pre-poo with it and it leaves my hair incredibly soft. My hair doesn't like DC'ing with cholesterol but it loves being pre-poo'd with it.

LeKair-an old school favorite!!

Works like a charm after a weave and weekly to deep condition your hair before a relaxer. Tried the others but this one has held my hair down...
