Ladies,

When I attempt to flat iron/ straighten my hair it just does not work. If I do one small section that section is frizzing back up before I get to the next section. I use a heat protect product. Could my straightening tool not be hot enough? My hair frizzy like cotton candy. And is dense in some places and thin in others.

What am I doing wrong?

The tool may not be hot enough. What flat iron do you use.

Review your whole wash day process. What products what are you using from pre poo/shampoo to leave ins and heat protectant.

Are you doing the comb/chase method.

When my hair poofs when I try and blowdry it, my leave in sometimes has too much glycerin in it.

Need more info to help...what is your process from beginning to end including what products you are using? What type of blow dryer and flat iron? What's the heat setting on the flat iron? It could be a number of things from process, technique, products or user error.
