How does it compare to other avocado butters from Oils by Nature, Camdem Gray, From Nature with Love, and Organic Creations?

I'd like to know this too. I've been considering purchasing avocado butter and the Burt's bees would be very convenient

This is a heavy duty deep conditioning treatment. It is so thick that I like to blend it with a neutral oil like coconut because it helps it to spread throughout your hair. You're supposed to leave it on from 10 minutes to an hour but I like to leave it on overnight. I think it's on sale on either CVS.com or drugstore.com for 30% off.

Lejardinier, so it's a conditioning treatment and not actual avocado butter?

TIA!

Gotcha...this is a product , not straight avocado butter. Thanks so much!

Thanks for all of your replies, because I wasn't quite sure which one I should buy. I prefer not to order products on line, but Scorpian's detailed response convinced me to order the pure ones.

Burt's Bees have some good ingredients.

I love this stuff! I'm a 4a/b natural and stumbled upon this for the first time last week, and decided to give it a try. It's a pre-shampoo treatment which I don't normally use, but I liked the ingredients and that it said it could be used for styling also. I thought it would be more like a cream, but it has a heavier consistency, almost like grease. I followed the instructions, and it left my hair feeling very soft and moisturized. It also elongated my strands and loosened the curl pattern, so my hair was very easy to detangle and manage.

Where are ya'll buying this from? I noticed last time that I was in Target that they carried the Burt's Bees line, but they didn't have the Avocado pre-poo treatment, though.

The last time I tried the Burt's Bees treatment, it made my hair hard. I may revisit it sometime since finding LHCF. You can find it at DSW up here, also. On the other hand, I have avocado butter from oils by nature and it is the bomb. You have to be careful not to use too much. Last week, in the sauna that dc was, my hair lost all curl, but it was silky soft and moisturized, even a week later at washtime. I hope it works the same for me this winter!

I love that stuff!!! I get good reults when mixiing half a tube with yogurt. But since I wash my hair evey 3-5 days, and at 8.99 a pop, that's 54-90 dollars a month!! that's a cell phone bill alone!!!

I love this stuff. I'm natural and I use it on my braidouts. It is heavenly on my ends. I buy mine at an upscale hair salon/beauty supply.

I tried this today and it was great!! I left it on my hair for about 15-20 minutes, rinsed out and washed with Elucence Moisture Balancing Shampoo. It may be the best I've ever tried.

My hair felt so soft, and hydrated I almost didn't want to deep condition! I was suprised because my hair is usually sensitive to avocado, but this is a great pre-poo. I'm almost upset it worked because I'm in the process of simplifiying my regimen. Now I may have to add this to a list that's supposed to be decreasing:nono:
