What are your faves? I need suggestions before I lose my mind and cut all my hair off.:perplexed

When my hair is really tangled, i detangle in the shower with Cream of Nature shampoo(red bottle). It works great everytime.

In all seriousness:
Water & My Jilbere Shower Comb
after a co-wash or ACV rinse.
I don't detangle unless I'm in the
shower under the pressure of the
water... it does wonders for tangles!!!

I feel your pain. Giovanni Direct leave-in Conditioner is the best thing ever since slice bread :lachen: . It will detangle your hair very well.

When my hair is wet, Aussie 3-Minute Miracle Reconstructor works very well. But, I have yet to find something that works equally well on my hair when it's dry. :ohwell:

I've tried L'Oreal detanglers, Johnson's, Mane n Tail from the vet supply store (not even the human formula :o  ) and nothing works well. So I just avoid tangles as much as I can by keeping my hair pinned or braided.

Giovanni direct leave in
Sunsilk cream in the purple bottle
Aubrey organics honeysuckle and rose conditioner, camellia conditioner

How are you using it? I just haven't had great success with it. Are you using on wet or dry hair?

TIA!

I use it after I wash and condition my hair. I towel dry then, while it's still wet i spray liberally throughout my hair. I make sure that I lift up my hair so that I'm getting down to the roots. by the time I'm done, my hair is dripping slightly again. I towel of excess and us a wide toothed comb to detangle. HTH

Olive Cream Conditioning Instant Detangler. This product is a GOD SENT!!! I just put a little on the knot and it slips right out.

I would say for the money and product Afro Detangler can't be beat. It comes in a huge 64 oz I believe and for the price by comparing it with the smaller bottles of detangler on the market it is by far more economical for me.

Now I am a 4b my hair tangles if you look at it, and I do most of my detangling when I wash it and the water is running in the shower.

But my Afro Detangler can last me for months any where for 4-10 months depending on if I add in protective styles.

That for me is a better price and product for the money. I was going through those 8-16 oz jars and the cost was hurting the pocket book.
