OMG im still in my towel from the shower to rinse out this relaxer. I have used almost every single relaxer out there, and I saw this relaxer, CANTU, and decided to try it. I think my whole entire scalp will be a perm burn later on today, including the small splatters i got on my face. this S*&% should be taken off the market becuase I have used every thing out there without ANY issues time and time again. OMG i hope i have hair later on. BTW my hair isnt really that coarse and i left it on maybe 15 minutes so not i didnt over process. Anyone else have problems with this relaxer?
:wallbash:

UPDATE: I got enough courage to comb through the hair and pain, and to my suprise, my hair didnt even relax. WTF! all that burning for nothing?

I bought this several months ago-when I was searching for THE relaxer and this stuff was irritating my dd(she NEVER burns) so I knew something was wrong. I was asking her if she scratched and a hundred questions because I was so puzzled. She was like ma, I haven't done anything different. I had already rinsed that ish out of her head(about 5-6 minutes later) and her hair looked exactly the same, no processing at all, nothing but irritation and wet, still thick as hell new growth. I know if I'd left it in any longer she would be burnt up too. I'd bought two of those kits and for some reason haven't thrown the other one away yet. I'll make sure not to pass this on to anybody because it was the worst perm I've come across. I put it on my July Miss list.

Hey Cali, quick tip for you.........If you can tell that you've burned yourself after rinsing out a relaxer, apply petroleum jelly, vaseline, etc to your scalp. This should be done after neutralizing and conditioning, but before setting or styling. This prevents your hair from sticking to your scalp and reduces the amount of scabbing. I know we shouldn't be using petroleum, but every rule has an exception. And this has worked for me.
