I will try this method on my DD and see if that works better.

I wonder why she was only getting results at the end of her length. I'm surprised her hair turned out as well as it did.

I tried this and it worked like a charm. I used to rake the denman through my entire hair and was left with flat hair on top with curly ends. This time I did like the video on ends only and it really works. My end curls were tiny though because my hair is much shorter, but it really works.

Because she was only raking the brush through her ends, not her entire length.

She says in the video that her hair was frizzy when she pulled it through the length of her hair before. I was asking why that was but I guess my question wasn't clear.

I love that gel she uses and I get decent curl definition without flipping my hair over the brush. I do run the Denman on my ends only though.

I hate the shrinkage so when i refresh/lightly spritz my hair I band it

I tried this morning. I think it worked. My hair is still pretty wet but it's drying pretty. I especially like my bangs. My bangs usually are the bane of my existence.

I usually hate my denman and it is usually left in the bathroom cabinet unused. Using it only on the bottom portion of my hair seemed to make a big difference.

Hmm I wonder how this compares to just raking with your fingers.

I use to do it this way but I don't know who I learned it from and I can't remember whether I liked it or not lol. But I think I might revisit this.

Only after I fix my Denman. I done broke the thang and can't put it back together after trying to take some rows out

This looks great for definition, but I had to step away from my denman, even after modification. Gave me mid shaft splits. Maybe it was my technique, but I had stop.

I tried this technique again on reconstituted curls using Argan oil ecostyler gel. Once my ends were dry I separated all the curls. I've never had so many spirally curls fanning out over my head in my life! It was kind of insane. I put my denman back together so I could use all of the teeth. I think I like it better that way.
