On break
Hi, all.

I noticed a display in my JC Penney's of free water testing materials. Having hard water can really affect your hair, so I'll be glad to receive the results.

I'm not sure if it's at every JC Penney's, but I thought I'd share.

Postage is free. You simply fill the provided vial with kitchen sink tap water, fill out the tiny card, and drop it all in the mail. Took me less than 5 minutes.

I got a call last night with the results.

I have "very hard water."

They are coming by later this week to do some more testing and some demos.

Glad I invested in HairPrint's Chelating Shampoo now that my ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo is emptied. Guess I'll head to Home Depot to look into a shower water filter.

@YvetteWithJoy, Which filter do you have? We're you able to install the shower filter on your own or did you need a professional? If you did it on your own, was it difficult?

Thank you!

Hi, lady!

I'm tapping on my phone so I don't know if the picture will post in the right spot.

I purchased the pictured shower filter for $20 from Home Depot. My husband installed it using the provided plumber's tape. He says you don't need a professional. You might be able to do it yourself, but a "handy" male friend or family member could for sure.
