Just wondering if it is ok to use on fine hair, the strong protein that is that you have to wait to harden before rinsing.

And can it be used immediately after a relaxer?

My hair's very fine and I've used this with no problem at all. I don't have any experience using immediately after a relaxer. I used it a couple of weeks before using a relaxer.

I have fine hair and I love it, I hardly ever use it as suggested though :look:

So it ends up being a medium protein treatment.

I haven't used it in awhile, but my mom has always been a fine haired lady unlike me and she still uses Aphogee when needed and it has no harsh affects to her hair.

In the past I have used it after a relaxer, because of color and relaxer damage but then I had thicker hair. Now with the changes in my hair from some past meds I have taken, being more cautious with my hair I haven't used a hair core protien like Aphogee, and without LHCF I might have.

I have fine hair and i use it every 4-6 weeks without any problems... it actuall;y has a very positive affect on my hair

You know that's right! :yep: I changed my tune REAL quick!

It works excellently on fine hair. Just follow up with a very good moist conditioner, like kc humecto or motions. And clip your ends. your hair will become thicker and longer.

I have extremely fine hair and it works great for me! I've never used it immediately after a relaxer though. I think you should wait at least a week. I usually wait 2 weeks. Always follow with a very moisturizing deep conditioner w/heat.

I have fine hair and it's a must for me. I use Lye-relaxers and Aphogee right after my relaxers no problem. Think is... if your going to do it after relaxer... I say wait a day or two cuz if not IT WILL BURN . Just remember to follow w/moisturizing conditioner, and you should be ok.

I have fine strands and the aphogee seems to work really well for me (I have only tried it once). But my hair likes protein. Never used it after a relaxer.

Just did one on Wednesday. I have fine hair and my hair works great with it.

I use DuoTex immediately after my relaxer though. (before neutralizing)

I use this but I generally wait 2 weeks after a relaxer to do it though because I heard if you do it immediately post relaxer it can cause your hair to revert some.

My fine hair likes this as well. I never use it immediately after a relaxer either. I would use it either 2 before or 2 weeks after my relaxers.

I use this on my fine hair and it really help strengthen it. Just make sure you really deep condition with a moisturizing conditioner (not the one that comes with it, it doesnt work!).

I've used only used the 2-minute Aphoghee treatment immediately after my relaxer and it really does help. I personally wouldnt use the heavy/hard treatment immediately afterwards. Instead, what I do is use the heavy treatment the week prior to my relaxer.

My hair responds really well to regular protein so I do weekly protein treatments, using the heavy treatment one week and the 2-minute treatment the next.

i used it 3 days after a relaxer, and my hair reverted from bone straight to 3a. definitely wait at least 2 full weeks before using after a relaxer.

naturallad-- i mean, StillALady had the same thing happen to her.

I'm using Aphogee again since I'm relaxed. I'm shedding a little (which is probably normal but I still don't like it) so I'm getting some protein on these strands.

hmm I've been to scared to use the hardcore aphogee, I use the 2 minute reconstructor. But if it works for you fine-haired ladies I think I might give it a shot
