It's been a while since I've been in one of these threads. I'm visiting my parents so I want to take advantage of the fact that they can entertain the baby while I tend to my hair for once. I'm planning on washing/DCing and then I'll blow it out and curl it with the curling wand. Now that I'm WL I want to enjoy my hair more.
 
2 weeks before my relaxer so I will begin the preparation process. This week I will eliminate sulfur.

Pre-Poo: Annabelle's Coco Pre-poo Treatment
Poo: Keracare Hydrating Detangling Poo under heat for 20 mins
DC: TBD under heat for 30 mins
Leave-ins: Annabelles/Oil/Naturelle Grow
Dry: Air dry
 
Tonight:
Pre-Poo & Finger Detangled with: Pure Ghee and Naturelle Grow's Guava & Fig Pre-Poo
Cleansed with: VO5 Kiwi Lime Clarifying Conditioner
Applied Henna - Wrap in Plastic & Plastic Cap.
Rinse Henna with: Organix something
Apply: LACE Brahmi DC'er overnight

Cowash with APB Whipped Cleansing Creme
Apply diluted Keracare Moisturising Anti-Dandruff shampoo to scalp
DC with APB UCS under my Hot Head Conditioning Cap for 1/2 hr
Rinse with cool water
Apply APB LI spritz and Simple Cream

Prepoo with APB Prepoo Treatment mixed with APB Ginger Root Growth oil
Cleanse: SM AWM Shampoo
DC: Either APB Ayurvedic Mud Mask or Naturale Grow's Bamboo and Silk DC sealed with APB oil
Leave In: Alikay Naturals Lemongrass Leave In and seal with Siamese Twists Olive and Bhringraj Cream
Put in twists to dry

Sunday
Put in twist bun for the week
 
0. Clarify with VO5 clarifying shampoo
1. Komaza protein treatment for the first time! :clap: (Finally got it after all these months! :D)
2. DC with Bekura Y.A.M. (was supposed to be under the new steamer, but it came missing parts)
3. Full detangling session with Soultanicals Slip-N-Slide, Hair Glide something or other. I'm just going to section of off 3 hours so I won't keep worrying about the time sink. :yep:
4. Steam in and leave in DevaCurl One Condition (almost can't ever skip this step)
5. Komaza aloe gel (I have a sample . . . first-time use; smells DIVINE; too expensive, though) . . . dry in low ponytail puff method, remove ponytail, let finish air drying

6. NEW: Protection at night to try and prevent tangles, as explained at the MHM site: French roll sections of hair and wrap bands around French rolled sections to keep them secure . . . wear silk hair covering over it

I am really busy with my hair today so I:

Prepooed with AVJ/PSO (pumpkin seed oil)
Shampooed with Redken Color Extend Magnetics shampoo
Demi Colored with Matrix
Oil Rinsed with PSO
Deep Conditioned with CJ Curl Rehab mixed with 4 Bella Naturale Babassu & Blueberry Buttercream Conditioner
 
Finally getting going this evening:

Pre poo: Onion and ginger juice on the scalp and fenugreek, slippery elm, evoo and evco mix on the hair

Going to wash with:
Motions shampoo on the scalp and let it run on the ends, followed by keracare detangling shampoo

Protein tx: Trying out Redken extreme strength builder plus. ( I really like the leave in so I hope this is good) I'll try the recommended 20 mins

DC: Keracare humecto or ORS repleneshing depending on how my hair feels after

Air dry 70%, keracare serum then light blowdry and maybe flat iron NG

LOC - with Redken anti snap + keracare leave-ins, oil and keracare creme hairdress
 
Cleanse: DevaCurl No Poo Decadence

Condition: Cream and Coco Sugar Spun Reconstructor under Naturelle Grow Vanilla Fig.

Leave In: Silk Dreams Wheat Germ Butter Conditioner

Seal: Sarenzo Hair Jelly

Style: WNG

Will continue this routine for the week as I'm not in the mood for Twist. Also, want to finish up this Vanilla Fig.
 


Did the style in the video above but as crochet braids and I've had them in for a little over 2 months (I curled them on perm rods and LOVE it so much), so taking these bad boys down then will do the following:

WASH | Shea Moisture Manuka & Honey Shampoo
CONDISH | Anita Grant's Rhassoul Clay + Coconut Milk + Brown Butter Beauty Babassu Butter Love Deep Conditioner
LEAVE-IN | Blue Roze Beauty Coconut Hair Milk Leave-in (discontinued and I'm on my last bottle :cry:)
STYLERS | Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter + a dab of Camille Rose Curl Marker
STYLE | Twistout or Braidout
 
I moisturized my hair with Bel Nouvo Avocado & Shea Healthy Hair Milk followed by some 4 Bella Naturale Flaxseed Curl Definging Hair Gel. It was awesome and played well with the hair milk, plus it has great hold with no flakes. I might repurchase the flaxseed gel.
