Thinking Of Buying This Softhood Bonnet Hair Dryer Attachment

I don't own an overhead dryer and need a way to get my hair dry for this coming winter, especially when I want to wash my hair in the morning instead of at night as I normally do. I've been looking at this dryer attachment for a while and wanted to get your thoughts (didn't see any threads about it). Its cheap enough and doesn't require space (which I don't have) but is it worth it?

I have a black one just like it from Sally's. I love how small and convenient it is. The bonnet fits neatly into a small carrier bag so you can travel with it.

It says not to use it on High/hot, but I do it anyway for my deep treatments. I haven't tried it on cool yet.

I have it in black from sallys too. I only use it on cool or warm but that's because the cool on my blow dryer is very warm. I love it. I color, dc, rollerset all the stuff a hooded dryer is used for.

Oh as another plus it has a draw string which my golden hot didn't. It makes it more secure on your head when the dryer is on high.

You can use it on high. That's the only way I use it. You can't use it on hot though. A hot blow dryer is over 400° and the hooded attachment is very close to your scalp. Just trust that it hurts like hell.

I didn't have this brand (and I don't remember the exact one I had) but the one I did burned through at the point where the dryer meets the attachment due to me using it on high one time. So if yours says not to use on high don't do it.

Yes, @MileHighDiva I do have Prime. With Prime I have the free shipping so I may as well order from Amazon.

This looks really interesting. I've been seriously looking at hooded dryers for deep conditioning and eventually rollersetting (still learning ), but wanted something cheaper and that didn't take up much space. Given the positive reviews posted here, I may just get one.

Yep, that's the one. I love it so much that when my hooded dryer broke I didn't even care. It takes up no space at all And I can lay on my couch and rollerset while watching a movie.
