Are any other naturals using 'cones successfully? When, why, and what do you use?
I decided I had to do something different to see if I can gain control over the frizzy pouf I end up with and so I bought NTM and to my surprise, my twistout stayed put without frizzing and poofing out. (My family was impressed because it's been bad, y'all!)

This twistout has lasted 5 days so far and I've retwisted twice. The humidity (dew point) was lower than this summer, of course, but it was still high enough to affect me like normal. So I'm gonna keep experimenting with 'cones and see how it goes, especially since a sulfate shampoo is already in my reggie.

at your Avi! I love it!
it. I use any Shea Moisture shampoo on the other weeks. They all feel the same to me but I tend to always gravitate towards the coconut or the Superfruit one. I don't love them like I love Elucence though...they just kinda get me by until I can clarify. I guess it's strange that I prefer a clarifying shampoo to the "moisturizing" ones. lol
Too many butters/oils also give my hair a "dusty" or a grayish, dull ashy color. Cones gives me shine.
