How Bad Are These Twists I'm Self Installing? Work In Progress...

Hey baby girl. They don't look ratchet and you'll only get better. If you are doing the invisible routine then you have won the battle. I can't do it so I use rubber band method. Here's one thing you might consider. If you are looking for growth, you need bigger braids. Medium to Havana style. Good look sister. I'm on the same journey too right now and you can't tell me ****.

Never heard of the rubber band method. Interesting. I'm a little weary of bigger braids because of the issue with my left side.
Not bad. next time don't do square parts.

Which kind of parts should I do?

How did you part the front? Next time around, part it like you would part slanted flat twist that you intend to wear. Get it?

Like this? I always have the hardest time parting my front.

Yes like this. It makes the front look really neat when you braid it and will help give you fullness in the front and top. They don't have to be as neat as these. And when you do a bun it will fall neatly. After I make a row, I don't make the vertical parts with a comb. Does that make sense?
I will see if I can find a clear picture of the front of my hair in braids to show you.

That was so mean and I'm not even the nicest person in the world.:perplexed:

Had to back to even catch that post. I didn't even notice that the first go around because it was such a non-factor statement.

I don't see anything balding about the pictures you posted @Harina.

Interesting. Thanks for this! Don't forget the picture please!

I think they look pretty good @Harina. How are they holding up?
I think I might try to do my own. Was it the Afro kinky hair you used or Marley ?
