I love how my hair resounds with a clay/steam treatment. Will you please recommend a free standing steamer?

Tess's I've been eyeing these for a while I checked out the sams club link and it looks like a professional model. I need to get 1 of these by year end.

How do u like it and how long have u had it?

I really like it. I bought it used and I've had it for over a year now. It was easy to put together without instruction, it's easily adjustable, it has 2 settings (I don't know the temp - I just know it's either very warm or hot lol) it gets my whole head. Love that thing :love2:

Mine was the one that used regular tap water and my gf bought the other one that uses distilled water.

My water reservoir broke once and they replaced it for free. A month or so later that one started to leak and they told me that I had to but another one since it was out of warranty. I duck taped it up and then it just stopped steaming. I cleaned it with vinegar and it worked again for a brief period - I called the company and they said it might have something to do with the heating element.

I threw it in the trash. My gf had the same problems. This was just my experience.

@CodeRed
Thanks. I was in the process of buying one from lclbeauty and someone in a fb group posted one they just got from Amazon. I saw that it was cheaper and was posted in this thread and was interested.

@momi

Did your gf still have problems with hers after the reservoir was replaced?

Yes, she ended up getting a professional salon one. Also on mine one of the legs broke and I had to have it propped up on a dictionary. LOL A mess. Maybe we both had lemons.

Keller International supplies the one that SamsClub sells - however theirs is $229 and I am just going to wait SamsClub out as long as I can.
