Baby Wipe Curls

When my mom was growing up she did newspaper curls or cloth curls. I think this is a lot easier to sleep in than a flexirod or roller.

Never had newspaper but my mom would use vaseline on a brown paper bag (so the bag wouldn't dry out our hair) and twist it into a roller/flexirod and roll our hair when she wanted us to have tight curls (tighter than a sponge roller would give). I had totally forgotten about that!! LOL!! And it was more comfortable than rollers!

My great grandmother used to roll her hair (and my hair) with aluminum foil. The curls would be super tight and last all day.

Why not just cut up some cloth strips to make rag curlers and spritz them with a little water or leave-in? There are too many chemicals in wipes.

Eh baby wipes are a commodity around these parts so I rather use brown paper bag scraps. Thats how my grandmother would style my mom's and my aunts' hair for special occasions.
