Amika Obliphica Nourishing Hair Mask - provided good slip, detangled, and left my hair feeling moisturized like nobody’s business! y'all gotta try this deep conditioner!
APB Hair Pudding in Honey Dew - smells so so good and melted like butta in my strands.
Qhemet Biologics Aethiopika Hydrate & Twist Butter - smells good, moisturizes better than any other butter out there, hands down. Finished my jar today and ordering again next pay day without a doubt!
Beauty Protector Protect and Oil - great thick, good smelling oil
LottaBody Moisturize Me Curl and Style Milk - did a good job as backup when my QB Hydrate and Twist Butter ran out.

I did try it... I don't remember what happened becauseI think I got such a small bottle that I didn't really give it a chance. It's on my list of oils to get... when I run out of my hempseed oil I'm getting mustard seed, avocado and black seed. I'm going to use them one at a time the same way I do the hemp (mix with deep conditioner and steam) to see if I get any effect... It's good to know that it's "hot and stimulating" lol. Some people who have used it said it made their hair soft too.

I haven't had the 'guts' enough to pull Neem Oil back out either.:ohwell:

That one stanks so bad.:nono:

I have a Garlic & something and a Cayenne one that also smells to high heaven.

Trust me, those have not made a re-appearance.:lol:

*cough* One day I may be brave enough again to try to do an Oil soak with those.:look:

You are speaking the truth. I bought 3 jars excitedly and then used it ONCE and was like *gag* NO NO NO. I threw them away.

That neem oil... I sent that back. I used it once. I never, ever return things I order over the internet but good God, that smell was heinously offensive. It may not be bad for some people, but I just was not expecting that, even after reading about how bad the smell was. I don't really care about the benefits... I'd have to use so little that I probably wouldn't see them... I can't go to work with my head smelling like that and have my house smelling like a rotted foot :ohwell:
 
Hit: Soultanicals Curly Dew Earthy Poo. Not at all drying, I was easily able to part my hair after shampooing to apply conditioner. No tangles or knots. Actually, it kind of made my hair felt like I used a cleansing conditioner, but it also got my scalp nice and clean. :yep:

This product has a thick consistency along with a nice fruity aroma. I’ve used this product several times as both a sealant on freshly washed hair and as a refresher on dampened hair. Application and absorption were always a breeze because it immediately melted into my strands to smooth, soften and moisturize while adding lots of shine. My hair remained in this blissful state for several days after application. Although this product is advertised as being a heavy moisturizer, its water content seems offset the oils and butters contained within the ingredient list. I would characterize it as a “wet butter,” which is why I was able to successfully use it as a stand-alone refresher/moisturizer. I’m really enjoying this product.

Smooth Naturals Ultimate Hair Treat
The consistency of this product is thick and ultra creamy, and has a faint creamsicle aroma (the texture reminds me of the PBN Sapote Lotion). It was used only as a leave-in conditioner on freshly washed hair, and always provided me with instant softness, moisture and shine...that lasted for days (I kept peeking at my hair in disbelief due to the long-lasting smoothness and shine). I am really impressed with this product’s performance.

Smooth Naturals Absolute Moisture
The consistency of this product is a bit lighter and wetter than the UHT, and felt extremely silky during application. As a refresher on dampened and/or dry hair, this product failed to make the grade – it applied smooth and silky, but offered very little moisture and absolutely no shine (I had to apply another product on top in order to raise the moisture level). OTOH, it excels as a leave-in conditioner on freshly washed hair, where it consistently smoothed, softened and moisturized my hair for days. I opted to receive this product in the Chocolate Dreams scent, which was pleasantly light and did not linger long after application.

Smooth Naturals The Balm Butter
The consistency of this product is one of a thick, dense, highly concentrated butter that disperses and absorbs extremely well. It softened and moisturized my skin like a dream while giving it a slight glow. Although I’ve used this product solely as a body butter, I have been toying with the idea of using it on my hair as a sealant. I also received this in the Chocolate Dreams scent.

Great review! I've been wondering about the Balm Butter. Her products don't do anything on dry hair for me but work great as leave ins.

I've also been wondering about her new product Nourishment. The owner is such a sweet heart and her customer service is so good I still want to support her in some way. The Whip is great as a body cream.
 
^^^ I also have the Nourishment.:look: I will give it a good sampling within the next few weeks, if I can ever put down the UHT (that stuff is so good!). Her products seem to work exceptionally well only on wet/freshly washed hair. The Balm Butter beat out Lace's Tangerine Butter in the moisture and softness department, which says a lot because the Lace is very good. I almost purchased The Whip to use as a leave-in, but the shipping leaped from $6.25 to almost $14 when I added to my cart. I backed out of that one really quickly, but I will definitely revisit her site for BF.

Revisited Hit: Silk Dreams Wheat Germ Butta Conditioner. Great, medium/thick consistency, easy to apply, and keeps my 4b hair soft for a couple days. I used this to refresh twists and sealed with some shea butter. I took down my twists a few days later and my hair was very soft and supple. It doesn't have much smell, so it can be paired with your yummy smelling sealants.

Bekura YAM: I think my hair likes honey because this really softened my hair. My coils were springing after using this. Despite it being pretty much honey, it wasn't nearly as messy as I thought it would be to apply. I rubbed it in my palms and it turned into a white liquidy consistency, which I then applied to my strands. I didn't need a lot, though I was probably a little heavy handed.

Naturalsis72 Sweet Coconut Butter: This is mostly just Shea Butter mixed with other oils, but it smells yummy and it softens 4b and 4c hair. Great sealant and excellent for twisting.
 
Miss: Shea Moisture Raw Shea Conditioner. I genuinely dislike the entire Raw Shea Line except for the shampoo.

Hit: Shea Moisture JBCO Masque. It made my hair very soft and moisturized.

Kimmaytube Leave In. It is perfection for my hair. I started adding a little Neutral Protein Filler for a boost. I think the mix also works better with S-Curl or Taliah Waajid.

Jessicurl Too Shea. I think I like this more than the Jessicurl Weekly DC.

Oil Rinsing with Castor Oil, my hair was incredibly soft.

Coconut oil hair soak for five days. My hair was the softest it's ever been in my life. If you ladies ever have a free weekend please try it.

tiffers and missbugg21 I start off on dry hair and apply enough coconut oil to heavily coat my strands. Then I put on a processing cap or plastic bag and leave my hair alone. Then the next say I apply another heavy coat of coconut oil and put the cap back on. Then the next day repeat the process again. I do this for at least 3 days, then I shampoo my hair and DC.

I promise you, your hair will be so soft, easy to detangle, and strong. Just make sure to not apply any water to your hair throughout the soaking process.

Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade is a hit :)
Keeps my braidout looking fresh and the pomade is not too thick, greasy, or oily if used sparingly.
