I've moved from "realistic" looking wigs that match my hair color & length to fun wigs that are short & with color. That way, my realistic wigs are kept nice and neat for work while my short & fun wigs are worn around town on the weekends when I'm less likely to bump into work folk. I've heard great things about the Qhemet line and I figured since my product stash is really low, I'd try something different. Hopefully I'll find some new staples because I don't think I can deal with Soultanicals and their slow shipping anymore. I hate to say that.

I also bought some Tweezerman hair shears because my Conair shears sucked.

I'm also contemplating on buying a steamer because I'm a biology student and I don't have time to dedicate my whole weekend to my hair like I normally do...especially this semester.

Yesterday I bought camellia oil for my butter mix but will use some of it on my hair as an experiment. I also bought castor oil (not jbco but it's organic, cold pressed and yellow so we'll see) for my temple and nape. I got them both (8oz for camellia and 4 oz for castor) for about $22 bucks on ebay.

I bought the Roots Only applicator bottle and Roux porosity control conditioner and leave in (the Roux was BOGO free at Sally's). I can't wait to try both on wash day this Friday.

I also bought a handheld dryer with a comb attachment. I plan to use it when I do long stretches because air drying my hair after about 7 wks post is not happening anymore.
