Has anyone tried the new "MEGAGROWTH" collection by Profectiv

Has anyone the profect new megagrowth line...i noticed they had megagrowth hair spray, creme, hair lotion, etc...i just saw it for the first time in stores today and i admit its pretty catchy. Are they any good? there other lines like healthy ends, break free, etc to me seems all the same just diff. colors

I tried the lotion, I didn't like it at all since it didn't seem to do anything. My hair doesn't react well to Profectiv creams in general though.

I have the cream, and I really like it. I use it on me and my daughter's hair for baggying, it's really moisturizing. It's been about 2 weeks now, and our ends are starting to look better. I haven't seen any "mega growth", though

I just bought the megagrowth lotion, it's a 8 oz bottle. It was on sale at Walgreens for $4.49 which is less than the 4.25 oz jar of the cream which is $5.99 - 6.99 depending where you buy it. I like the lotion. It has many good ingredients and the scent is the same as the cream. I only use profectiv when my new growth comes in at about 8 weeks plus post relaxer and not every day because of the protein. I found the lotion moisturizing and when I use it at night and sleep with my satin scarf on the next morning my hair is soft and it does feel stronger. It's worth a try!

I use the cream when my hair is straight. I put it on my end and edges before i tie my hair up for the night and it really makes my hair smooth.

I love the lotion! I use it when I re-roll my hair for a rollerset. I don't even have to use it everyday! I love this stuff. The deep conditioner is great too. I put it in the March Hits thread.

It's been a while since I've used their cream but I bought the deep conditioner in a jar. I liked it so far and the smell is pretty the same as the creme. I put the conditioner on my hair after I washed it for 20 minutes and my hair came out soft. This is a keeper.

I used the original cream formula for years on and off, but I am afraid to try the new lotion b/c I snuck a feel in Wal-Mart and I thought my hair would probably like the thicker one better. However, I do agree that the ingredients and quantity do seem to make it a better value. My hair can’t take a lot of protein but when the cream finally runs out I think I’ll give the lotion a try.

I absolutely love the new Mega growth lotion moisturizer/strengthener. I just started using it two weeks ago consistently morning and evening before bed and it's Da Bomb!! It worked a miracle on my hair the first day I tried it. It made my hair soft, kinda shiny(have naturally dull 4a/b hair), and the shine seems to be improving, and veeeery strong!! Hardly any hair sheds either. I just hope I continue to get the same results over and over; hopefully my hair won't get dry from the protein, I'am keeping my fingers crossed cuz I love the stuff!!

I used it when it first came out when they only had the small jars...my hair loves it..I'm going back..it kept my hair so moist and healthy.

The conditioner is the bomb! Add some honey and oils to it (I do som EVOO and almond oil), leave it on for 20 minutes, with heat; longer without, and your hair will come out soft and tangle free. At least, mine did.

I agree with you on this and I think it is indeed the case.

To me it's just an OK product too... I have 2 jars of the Megagrowth formula(purchased the additional one by accident) under my bathroom sink. I am going to find someone to give them to...

I've used the MegaGrowth conditioner, lotion, and growth sheen. The conditioner is okay, but I like Silicon Mix and some other conditioners better. The lotion is good. I did find that over time, my hair grew stronger & softer - I used it mostly on my new growth. I used the growth sheen on my actual hair, and I love it, but it can be VERY difficult to find. Have only found it at one Wal-Mart, not even all Wal-Marts and not ever at Sallys.

I'm an old time profectiv user and my hair notices the differences in their products. I love breakfree and long and healthy. I'v been using them for years. Breakfree is different from the green one... I think that it is called root health? Anyhoo, roothealth never gave me the same hold and shine as breakfree... probably because of the protein differences. Also, my hair liked healthy ends but didnt really respond well to mega growth.

I use the deep conditioner and I love it..it stops the shedding & breakage and it smells so good to me! I also have the hair lotion and I love the way it smells too...plus the hair lotion really moisturizes your hair and leaves it soft...

Nothing is wrong with mineral oil unless you never wash your hair/cleanse your scalp!
