How Many of You Know Where Patra Braids Get Its Name From?

It's almost obvious that many of you know where Marley Braids get the name from. Hell, if you were born in the 70s or even the 80s you should know where Poetic Justice Braids get its name from. But very few people know where Patra Braids get the name from.

How many of you know how Patra Braids get its name?

Erm...me. But literally no one my age or younger has said "patra braids" lol. At least not in my area

I've heard of Patra, the dancehall queen of the early 90's, and yes...her braids were always nice but I've never in my life heard of Patra Braids as a common name for box braids.

I'm old enough to remember and young enough to forget intentionally. I never called them Patra braids though.
