Are you talking about shedding like every time you run your hands through your hair, hair comes out in your hands or just regular little daily shedding?

Your hair is supposed to shed. That's how you get new hairs. Monitor your shedding to see how much is normal.

yeah I dyed my hair..but it was shedding before that.. what can I do to stop the shedding?:ohwell:

Aaaaw man sorry this is happening. Sounds like your hair was damaged well before you added the chemical dye. I'm no expert at all. My hair doesn't like dye/chemicals either. There is a thread link below here where you can ask a stylist anything she is an expert that can respond. I hope all gets better for you. http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=715409&page=9

Yes, depending on the circumstance. The telogen phase is one of the reason why hair sheds. This is when the hair is in the resting phase. Regardless, hair sheds 50-100 strands daily and it's completely natural. Plus, if you braid your hair or wear a certain protective style for awhile you might notice a huge amount of shedding, because your daily shed hair is piling up.

Unnatural shedding occurs when you're stress, alopecia, taking certain medication, smoking, over chemical process, and etc.
