Yes...ive tried it....it doesnt make my hair super crunchy....but it has this weird feeling to it when it dries .....but i think its pretty good and worth a try

I prefer the wetline extreme gel though if I decide to use such artificial plasticy products

^^thanks! I picked up some today at Target and the texture is really weird! But kinda cool. Smells good, too. I bought the one in the green bottle with a hold of 9. I'll probably try it out tonight or tomorrow.

YES AND ITS THE BEST EDGE GEL I HAVE EVERY USED IN MY LIFE!!!. Plus you can get it at wal-mart for 3 bucks.

I used it for my bunning and so far so good...very smooth and shiney in my type four hair. Most gels have me looking fuzzy by the end of the day, well see if it lasts me all the way until tonight! So far it's the strongest gel I've ever found.

PerfectlyFlawed how are you using it? I have 2 here but have not used either myself yet. I'm sorta a PJ and saw a thread about the hold and went out and bought it. :grin:

Sorry I just got off work, but I use it for my buns usually I put about a silver dollar size of product in my hands and smooth it on damp hair.... sometimes I just draw a thin line of product along my edges and brush it back, again on damp hair

I went out and bought BOTH Gorilla Snot Gels (the yellow bottle AND the green one) then I went to another store and saw the Hicks, so I bought that too... My old stylist told me about Design Essentials and so I grabbed that as well... and I bought some Curls Passion Fruit edge tamer as well... I have something else too, but I'm forgetting it, and I already had the ORS Edge Control, which DIDN'T work for me, and I hate that tackiness of it...

I'm a total product junky.:nono::nono::nono:
I have used the gorilla snot in the green ONCE, and it looked just OKAY - wasn't shiny or anything... and for the most part it held, but I still had these soft lil short frizzies that popped up or never really laid down...

Out of these 6 or 7 that I've named, I've only used two of them... I'm going to kings dominion this weekend, so I guess I'll try a slicked back puff in case I get wet, so we'll see how this works out... I think I'll try the HICKS or the Curls stuff... I have to pick one...

SMH... This natural hair thing is like UGH!!!! Just tryna figure out what WORKS for me is all... :drunk::drunk::drunk:

You are serious about your edge tamers. :lol::lol::lol:

I've tried most of the products you mentioned and I think the Hicks comes in first place with Design Essentials in second. I didn't particularly care for curls or ors.

I use edge tamers on dry hair. For my slicked backed puffs I use gel.

I'm gonna go ahead and get the snot since it's inexpensive. If it's works close to hicks that would be great. I can save the $12 (or is $14).
