I use a mix of any conditioner, honey (or molasses), a little aloe, and a drop of castor oil left on for a couple of hours or overnight.

I'm still using BBD Stretch, but haven't deep conditioned in a while :ohwell:

Maybe I'll do that today...my poor hair :(

I'm still using Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner. Its my ride or die conditioner...it got me thru my transition and always softens and detangles my hair.

homemade mix: EVOO, honey & castor oil. Makes the curls pop & hopefully wont give me brain cancer in the long run lol

Bump....I need a deep conditioner badly. It seems that the only conditioner in the world that my hair agrees with is Elucence. I just tried the Olive You! Deep Conditioner by MYHoneyChild but it wasn't as great as I expected. Maybe I could just use both of them at the same time as a deep conditioner.

My favorite is OUIDAD Deep Treatment, but I also use Mizani Hydrafuse and Humecto. My hair needs lots of moisture and detangling as well. I'm a bonafide PJ though ,so I do have some others I like as well. You can NEVER have too much conditioner!!!!! I may have to try a few of these yall mentioned:)

My hair loved the Fekkai back when I was natural!!! Gotta try it again.

Ladies, any new discoveries????????? :)

I either use Elasta QP DPR mixed with some oil (coconut or olive) and honey or AO Honeysuckle Rose.

Aubrey Organics conditioners mixed with whatever I want (Giovanni smooth as silk conditioner, coconut oil, castor oil, neem oil (just a few drops, stinky), molasses, etc.). My deep conditioner mixes are very creative .

Last night I fell in love with Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol Plus. The minute I applied it to my hair (I'd just taken down my twists) I slid my fingers right through my ends! So this is a keeper for me. I lost a few shed hairs from wearing twists, but otherwise, it detangled like a breeze!

Under normal circumstances I don't deep condition my hair regularly! In fact, I may do it once a month if I remember! If, and when I remember, I normally just let one of my cheapie conditioners sit on my hair w/ a plastic cap and towel. I honestly don't believe I need to deep condition my hair since it comes it contact w/ water on a daily basis, and because I wash regularly.

But after last night --- I may reconsider how often I deep condition my hair!

I use Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholestrol Plus as well as Cantu Shea Butter leave-in conditioning repair cream..it is the bomb. I haven't used it since my hair has been braided, but prior to that my little afro was soft and my twists stayed longer....:yep:
