It has been my pleasure to serve you in the Atlanta store location for the past five plus years. It has been a rewarding journey where I have learned from customers and hopefully have in turn shared valuable information with you that has helped make your beauty routine a little easier. It is with great sorrow I announce that Sage Naturalceuticals will no longer have in-store hours. To provide better service to all our customers, effective September 28th, 2013 the retail location will close for regular hours. However, our online store will remain open for business as usual.

The transition to online-only will allow for more incentives to local customers including better pricing and free (and fast) shipping offers. We will not have regular store hours after September but will have "Pop Up Shop" days for sales, holidays and events. The first Sage Naturalceuticals "Pop up Shop" is Saturday, Oct 5th (see side bar for more details). To be notified of future "Pop Up Shop" Days, Sales Announcements, or Events Announcements, please sign up for the email list by visiting www.sagenaturalceuticals.com and clicking on the envelope icon at the bottom of the home page.

I was so sad to get that email. She is always so nice and professional everytime i go in that store. I liked the fact that i didn't have to wait for everything to come in the mail. I will sign up for the popups but my schedule is so crazy i may not be able to make it to them. I guess i will try to stock up at the natural hair show.
 
Sage was so convienent for me! I will definitely keep up with the pop up sales. Cindy is so nice and knowledgeable.

I guess I will have to make trips out to Healthy Hair Dimensions for any pressing items. They care many of the lines that Sage does but is a bit further out for me.
 
We had a natural hair store in Silver Spring that closed its storefront too. The owner said she could not get enough business in her doors and meet the rent. She went online for a while - not sure if she's still around.

I never went to Sage's brick and mortar store but I order from them all the time. Their shipping prices are great. I get my BeeMine through them bc of the shipping price. I can't get better prices from the bee mine site even when she has sales. I hope her online business makes it!
 
Did they increase her lease? I know someone that's being forced out due to a large increase. They can't afford to renew at their current location.

Normally, when they do this there's another occupant already lined up, that's willing to pay more.

I hope it's not due to foot traffic. Especially, in a city like Atlanta.

That store is in a terrible location (not terrible as in dangerous, just not a good location), isn't it? IIRC, it's not a place that get's a lot of foot traffic unless your purposefully going there.

This is why we need to really support black owned hair businesses as much as possible.

You have to know it's there or you will miss it. Whenever I go it's only one or two people there. I'm sure the online business outweighs her in store sales. Which is too bad because I wouldn't have tried half of products I have if I had to pay shipping from the websites.
 
Whaaaaat is going on with Sage? There is barely anything in stock anymore? I know she closed her store for retail. I have been trying to order various products for the last month and everything I want is out of stock. I really like Sage.

Yes it is. That whole area is bad location. There is a lot of great businesses around there but you wouldn't know. The only way I discovered them was when I used to walk to work(from downtown to westend) I passes by the place for a month, then one day I was extremely hot and decided to pop in because I knew it would have ac and I saw a black woman in the window. Lol when I stepped in I was amazed.

Sage is no longer listed as a vendor for Qhemet Biologics, I see on Qhemet's website. Not sure what's going on...

They haven't been a Vendor for QB since QB opened her store back up. It was only temporary.

I can't see any mentions on my IPhone. PM me if it is a must see. Allons y

I misunderstood. On QB's website it isn't listed under supplier/vendors? Wow!
