LOVE IT! :rosebud:

Silk protein is the second ingredient (that never happens) and my hair loves silk. :yep: I add it to my conditioners when I'm not braided and to my braid spray when I am.

ETA: Love it!

Hmmm okay so far one for and one against. Thank you for your time ladies, anyone else tried it??

I love this stuff in the summer time when I'm doing wash-n-gos. It makes my coils pop and keeps my hair nice and strong (I have a tendency to over-condition)

I think I may need to try this because i also have a tendency to over condition and I hate infusium 23, and I have seen this and wanted to try it so I think I will

I have that same tendency. :perplexed

Its actually pretty good. I used to curl my ends with a curling iron...and the curls stay longer when i use this as a leave in. It also makes my hair noticeably shinier. And i use it as a prep for my relaxer so that i will turn out texlaxed instead of relaxed. I generously spritz my dry hair with this, add oil and put in a ponytail, the morning....then i get my hair relaxed that evening...it never fails....my hair comes out texlaxed...

I use to use it but it had too much protein in it than my hair could handle so i had to give it a rest. Honestly, it wasn't a bad product, maybe if my hair gets too mushy from over moisturizing, i will use it again but for now, i'm staying far away from it.

I use it but I don't like how it makes my hair feel. When I used to comb my hair to detangle it, the spray made it almost impossible to do so...that's why it's taken me an excess of 2 years to finish it up.

Anyone still use this? I heard that they changed the formula somewhere in late 2007. I was thinking about buying some of this, but I want to know if anyone thinks the new formula is an improvement over the previous one.

It's one of those products that I keep on hand even though don't use often -- but I find a need for it when I want a quick protein boost and no time to do the DC with heat and all that -- when my hair is too soft, I incorporate this quick and easy protein fix as part of my leave-ins . . .

I'm on 2nd bottle in 3 years. . .

I used this product in the past and it started out great but the protein content was a bit too much for my hair

I'm so glad to hear this. I wanted to try this product and really give Aphogee a second chance (the treatment for damaged hair did my hair in) but I think their products are too strong for my hair. :perplexed

This product is one of my staples!!! It works best when I spray this on my hair after I poo and then apply my moisturizing DC, sit under the dryer for 20 minutes, rinse and I have strong, soft, moisturize hair!

I used to use it when I was relaxed. I would spray it on my hair for added strength when getting ready to do a touch-up. I couldn't stand the smell, but I liked it.

That sounds like a good way to use it. I can see how this product would work best with heat. I have it, but was only planning to leave it in if I'm doing a rollerset, so the heat can activate it. I may try your method also. :)
