:lachen: :lachen: I knew she would said it in the other thread by the end of the year she would looool

That blonde was looking dry dry dry especially when she picked it out and super stretched it when it was darker the lack of curl definition to me didn't matter it still looked really good

But when she tried to do the same with the blonde it looked so damn crispy

Loool she has a hundred wigs and never seems to wear them

On one of her vids she tried to say she didn't want to be afraid of not dying her hair and didn't want to be one of those naturals .....because she will big chop again

She damn well knows she isn't going to big chop again lol and regardless of what she says she big chopped for a reason because she had damage that's why she got rid of the blonde

TARYN PLEASE STAHP!!!!!!!!!

OMG its a miracle this woman is not bald LOL I had to unsubscribe to her channel because I just can't ha ha

Her hair is pretty dry and crispy right now. I won't be surprised if she does another BC. Hopefully she won't.

I won't even front. I attempted to dye my hair that blonde color and totally effe'd it, cut it all of and yeah that's why I am wearing wigs atm. :look:

That really stinks. I have a friend that dyed her hair like this for about 3 years. She went from waist length 3A hair to fried snap crackle pop ear length in no time.

Dying lighter is just a recipe for damage and disaster. I remember someone posted when she first went blond, and I thought- welp, there goes that head of hair. I pretty much think that whenever I see someone go lighter. Is there anyone whose maintained long dyed blond hair who's not a 3 inch a month growing, strands of steel unicorn?

When I've seen threads where someone is thinking about going blond, I've thought about posting and saying this, but I don't want to be THAT person.

Lexi from atlanta does but her hair always looks heat damaged or something

Wasn't Janet from this board blonde? And now a subtle red? Her hair was and probably still is very healthy. I don't know of many who can get away with that but I guess. As far as Taren goes I like the brown better on her as well. I said from the get go when she first fried it blonde that it looked dry from jump. Hopefully she can nurse her hair back and slowly trim the color away.

I can shave my hair off with no fear. I cannot color. That's what I fear the most. Her hair looked like afro hay. She very well might BC under the guise of just wanting short hair.

I have dyed my hair black twice this year and it's a bit dryer and I have to put a lot more work into it.

I would never have the courage to go lighter.

I remember a thread where Janet said the blond had damaged her hair and she had a lot of breakage, thinning out, and lack of progress as a result.

I don't know if red is necessarily as damaging.

I don't know this woman, but couldn't she just have used a brown semi/demi permanent rinse on her hair? Less damaging, probably would've produced shinier results, and stays in long enough for her to enjoy the color but eventually washes out, should she want to change up the color again.

But if the blonde had her hair dry its still dry you just cant see ot lol

Lool
I never understood this either but I have never coloured my hair before
But I see a lot of people bleach Their hair it ends up busted and then they dye it black I don't understand how this helps the situation

Wow thanks for the update bc I thought it was healthy head of hair. Oh well it didn't look anything like Taren's hair though. This is why I love hendigo bc of the damage from hair dye.

She knew from the minute she dyed her hair that it was dry and damaged. She tried to make the best of it but just couldn't. I am no expert but dyeing your hair a different color doesn't magically fix the damage that has been done does it? I like Taren but it's just weird that she keeps doing risky things to her hair especially now that she is really making money and has all these opportunities because of her hair.

Her hair was dry before the blonde and after dying it blonde it was even more dry...it really took her dry hair to another level. She really needs to focus on moisture, I have that same problem.

This part right there makes me think something isn't too right with her. Why mess up your money maker. People only go to her hair shows to see her hair, so why keep risking her hair. Her dying it brown doesn't make her hair "less dry" or "more healthy". It's just more damage on top of more damage.

I've only watched one or 2 or her videos but after being on this board for years, I was underwhelmed by her knowledge of hair care. Others seem to like her but she has zero to offer me.

Well if I was in her shoes I'd probably dye it back dark too.

Dark damaged hair does not look as bad as blond damaged hair. She will probably end up cutting.

Several ladies on the board have blond hair, but not their whole head. MsBoinglicious, and truequeen06 have/had blond streaks and at least WL hair.

I did bleach and melt my bangs once because Ididn't know what I was doing. Now I have healthy thick hair and I have blonde streaks under my hair. No breakage or dryness.

I think in a lot of cases people experience the break because they try to go too light too fast. For me it works best if I lighten in stages over time.

I think a tutorial or thread on this would be helpful:look:
