For a liter, I'd pay maybe $15 to $20. I base that price off the cost of 1L of Giovanni leave in on massage warehouse website.

If I were to buy 4 individual bottles of my leave in it would cost me 32 to 40 dollars. So I would definitely be willing to pay $30 or less because it would be a savings.

My staple leave-in is about $38 per litre so about $40.

Does this also apply to buying an 8 oz product 4x? If we add how much we spend on 8 oz products throughout the year, buying one or two liters at even $50 might be cheaper.

No I mean if you buy a huge bottle o condish. What is your staple leave in?

I take personal offense at paying over $1 per ounce of any hair product. So a liter at $34 is pushing it.

That said, I have gone outside of that range and been pissed off almost every singe time....WEN can suck swallow and gargle.

Can people list what 1 litre products they are buying for $10?

The only place I've seen this possible is JCPenny Salon. During the major holiday sales, they will have 2-one liter gift sets for $20. That's the only place I buy my Matrix Biolage and Paul Mitchell products from.

ETA: one liter instead of two

I'm not going to lie, I bit the bullet when Curl Junkie had her Black Friday sale and bought that $65.00 Curl Rehab. With the 25% off and shipping! The total came to right around the original cost.

I will not pay that again though. The most I would pay now is about $32.00 (a dollar per ounce).

I've started making my own leave-in using BTMS, water, and oils of choice, so it cost me about $4-$5 for a liter of product.

Which leave-in do you use? And how much do you pay for a small bottle?

I mainly use a novex conditioner as a leave in and they tend to cost around $10 for a liter. But they can be too heavy for my fine strands as a leave in so im looking for something else.

I was looking around and saw a product i wanted t try that cost $16 for 8 oz and $50 for a liter and i thought it was kind of expensive for a liter.

I like to make sure if i like a leave in i can get it in huge amounts.

I think instead of just looking at a dollar value consider things more of cost to value. Even though you can get a liter for $10, it doesn't have value, so $10 is not a deal.

I do think there are plenty of products between the $10 and $50 range though that you can try. I think $30 to $35 is average for a liter. I would focus more on finding something that works and then try finding a replacement if the price is too unreasonable.

I've bought some Chi and Rusk products from Marshall's. They were a'ight. Sometimes they have Giovanni but I'm not a big fan.

I would have said "other" if that were an option. Imho, if it does what my hair likes & it can function on different levels, I will buy it. For my budget, I wouldn't pay more than $75 depending on how many ounces I get.

I make a lot of stuff & I like using organic stuff so that can be pricey at times. But again, it's working for my hair, so the "investment" isn't a big deal for me, since it helps me reach my goals, hence it's worth it for me, my hair and my budget.

I buy oyin hair dew by the 1L for about $40....spending $$$ on what I know works tops nickel n dime'n around with stuff that doesn't.
